[Disclaimer : This Chapter is about the antagonist Akumu which features the events before the start of the first Chapter of this story]
[ Akumu - 悪夢 is a gender-neutral name that is translated means "Nightmare" ideally it is not a common Japanese name]
As the first rays of dawn peeked through the curtains of Akumu's dormitory room, she stretched her slender limbs and yawned, rolling out of bed. The lonely female student, who had been tormented by her classmates for as long as she could remember, rubbed the sleep from her eyes and began her daily routine. Brushing her long, raven-black hair, she thought about the upcoming school trip to the local shrine. Despite her misgivings, she hoped that maybe this time things would be different. Maybe this time, she'd finally find acceptance among her peers. Little did she know, fate had something much darker in store for her.
As the students filed onto the school bus, Akumu found herself sitting alone, as usual. She couldn't help but feel a sense of dread as she gazed out the window, watching the other students laugh and joke with one another. Suddenly, a thought struck her: what if she could change her fate? What if she could make herself invisible, just for one day? With this idea swirling in her mind, she wandered off the path, seeking solitude in a nearby grove of trees.
As she walked deeper into the woods, Akumu tripped over a loose root and fell, scraping her knee. Tears welled up in her eyes as she tried to steady herself on the uneven ground. It was then that she heard footsteps approaching. Thinking it might be one of her classmates, she called out for help. But it wasn't a friend who appeared, but her most bitter enemy. Enraged by years of torment, he struck her down, delivering a fatal blow. As blood pooled around her lifeless body, she felt a sense of peace wash over her, knowing that she would finally be free from the constant pain and loneliness.

Back at the shrine, the other students continued with their visit, unaware of the tragedy that had just unfolded in the woods. They paid their respects and made their wishes, oblivious to the irony of their actions. And as the bus pulled away from the scenic overlook, Akumu's lifeless body lay forgotten in the forest, her soul forever trapped in a world where she would never find the acceptance and love she so desperately sought.

The days passed, and the school continued as if nothing had happened. But something had changed. A sense of foreboding hung over the campus, a shadow that seemed to grow darker with each passing hour. The students who had once tormented Akumu began to see her in their dreams, pleading for them to right the wrongs they had committed. They felt a weight settle heavily upon their chests, a guilt that they could not shake.

Meanwhile, Akumu's spirit wandered through the woods, unable to find peace. She watched as her classmates went about their lives, unaware of the impact they had on her. She saw them laughing and loving, and she ached to be a part of it. But she was trapped, forever bound to the place where her life had ended. And as the years passed, the memory of her faded, replaced by the stories of legends and folklore that came to surround the tragic events of that fateful day.In the end, it was not the justice system or the punishment of her killer that brought Akumu peace. It was the realization that her life had not been meaningless, that she had left an imprint on the world, however small. And as the seasons turned and the trees that had witnessed her death grew old and died themselves, a new generation of students came to the shrine, unaware of the tragic history that lay buried beneath their feet. But in the quiet moments when the wind rustled through the leaves, they could sometimes feel a presence nearby, a whisper of a story that refused to be forgotten.
Akumu remembered her notebook where she would write about fall the foul things she injured by her fellow classmates. She would often escape to the woods, sit beneath the ancient trees and pour out her heart onto the page, reliving the moments of pain and humiliation. Sometimes she would even imagine a world where she was strong and powerful, where she could protect herself and make those who hurt her pay. As the years passed, she began to wonder if that world could ever become a reality.
The forest around her became a sanctuary, a place where she felt safe and at peace. She would watch the animals, study their behavior and learn from them. She discovered that there were predators in the forest, just as there were in her school, but there were also creatures who found strength in numbers and worked together for the greater good. It was then that she realized that she had the power to change her fate, to become something more than just a victim. One day, while exploring a cave near the woods, she stumbled upon an ancient tome, its pages yellowed with age and infused with arcane power. As she read the words within, she felt a sense of knowledge and power coursing through her veins. The tome spoke of a ritual, one that could grant her the strength and abilities she had always dreamed of. Intrigued, she began to study the ritual, committing the steps to memory.

As the day of the ritual approached, she gathered the ingredients she would need. The full moon hung low in the sky, its silver light casting an ethereal glow over the forest. She stood before the ancient stone altar, her heart pounding with anticipation and fear. Taking a deep breath, she began to chant the words from the tome, weaving a spell that would change her fate forever. Akumu placed a curse within her notebook where every story within the book would come true , even after she died her stories that featured her fellow classmates would come true in traumatic ways. As the final word left her lips, a blinding light engulfed her, and she felt her body begin to change. Her bones lengthened, her muscles grew strong, and her senses became heightened. She was no longer the small, weak girl she had once been. Instead, she stood tall and proud, her fur gleaming in the moonlight. She was a wolf, a creature of the forest, and she had finally found her place in the world. As she adjusted to her new form, she knew that she could not turn back. She had made a choice, and now she must live with the consequences. Her human life was gone, but in its place was a newfound freedom and power. She would use these gifts to protect those who could not protect themselves, to stand up against those who hurt others, and to ensure that the world knew the price of their cruelty.

Her senses became heightened, her strength increased tenfold. She looked down at her hands and saw that her fingernails had lengthened into deadly claws. She was no longer the weak, defenseless girl she had once been. With newfound confidence, she left the forest and returned to her school. The students who had once tormented her now cowered in fear at the sight of her. Akumu walked down the hallways, her presence commanding respect and fear.

She sought out her former tormentor and confronted him, her voice cold and menacing. "I have become what you once feared," she hissed. "And now, you will pay for all the pain you have caused." The boy trembled before her, his eyes wide with terror. Akumu could feel the power coursing through her veins, the knowledge that she was now in control of her destiny. She smiled, a chilling smile that sent shivers down the boy's spine. "From now on," she said, "you will treat me with the respect I deserve. Or you will face the consequences." The boy nodded, tears streaming down his face, and fled from her presence.
From that day forward, Akumu ruled the school with an iron fist. She became a protector of the weak, a champion for justice. And as she watched over her students, she could feel the ancient spirits of the forest whispering their approval, guiding her on the path she had chosen. For once, Akumu had found her place in the world, and there was no power strong enough to take it away from her.
But even with her newfound strength and purpose, Akumu couldn't escape the memory of her past. The nightmares still haunted her, filling her dreams with the faces of her tormentors. And so, she decided to seek out those who had hurt her and make them face the consequences of their actions. She would bring them before the ancient altar in the forest, where she had once found her power, and force them to endure the same transformation she had gone through. It was her way of finding closure, of making sure that no one else would ever have to suffer the way she had.

She tracked down her first victim, the boy who had started it all, and led him back to the cave where she had found the ancient tome. As they stood before the stone altar, the moon casting its eerie glow over their faces, Akumu could feel the power coursing through her veins. She knew that what she was about to do was wrong, but she also knew that it was necessary. With a single, swift movement, she placed the curse upon the boy, watching as his body began to change, his flesh ripping and tearing as his bones elongated and twisted into something inhuman. He screamed in agony, and Akumu felt a chill run down her spine.

But even as she looked upon the monster that had once been her tormentor, she couldn't help but feel a sense of satisfaction. She had taken back control of her life, and she was determined to make sure that everyone who had hurt her paid the price. And so, she continued her quest, tracking down each and every one of her former tormentors, one by one. Some tried to fight back, but their efforts were futile against her newfound strength. Others begged for mercy, but Akumu was unmoved. She was a force of nature now, and there was no stopping her.As the months passed, word began to spread about the vengeful spirit haunting the halls of their school. Some whispered that it was the work of a vengeful ghost, while others swore they had seen Akumu's transformed form lurking in the shadows. But no one dared to stand in her way, for they knew that to cross her meant certain doom. And so, Akumu continued her twisted crusade, her heart as cold and merciless as the ancient spirits that guided her. But deep down, she knew that there was still a part of her that yearned for forgiveness, for redemption. And she clung to the hope that one day, she might find it.

One fateful night, as she prowled the abandoned wing of the school, Akumu heard the sound of someone crying. Following the muffled sobs, she found a group of students huddled together, their faces etched with fear. They were being tormented by a group of older students who had taken it upon themselves to continue the cycle of abuse. As Akumu watched in horror, one of the younger students was pushed to the ground, their books scattered across the floor. Something snapped inside her, and she found herself launching herself at the bullies, her claws extended and her fangs bared. The older students froze in terror, their eyes wide with disbelief as they realized who their attacker was.

As they lay trembling on the ground, Akumu looked down at them, her voice cold and empty. "I am not here to hurt you," she said. "I am here to help you. To show you that there is another way." Slowly, the students began to regain their composure, their eyes meeting hers with a mixture of curiosity and hope. Akumu could feel the ancient spirits of the forest whispering to her once more, urging her to take this chance, to make things right. And so, she helped the younger students to their feet, her claws retracting and her fangs disappearing. "From now on," she said, "you do not have to be afraid. You have my word." The students nodded, their faces etched with gratitude and a newfound sense of determination.

As they walked away, Akumu turned to leave as well. But before she disappeared into the shadows, she heard one of the students whisper, "Thank you, Akumu." It was the first time anyone had ever spoken her name with kindness. And in that moment, she knew that maybe, just maybe, there was still hope for her soul.

Well at least that was the story that was told and passed down the years to the scared freshmen that entered the school each time the story would twist becoming more twisted and demonic as the years went by. Twisting the story of the innocent and bullied Akumu into a wicked and crazed student who would curse any students who would dare touch any of her personal possessions that remained within the school , especially her iconic black hard bound notebook which adorned an impression of her favourite flower a Orange Lily .
Eventually as the years went by and the tale became more tragic and demeaning of Akumu her ghost wanted to play by the scary story that was being passed around , she went looking for her book which by now was placed within an old bookshelf located in to decrypted school store and saw how her personal belongings were almost worn away and in a fit of rage she placed a curse on her book where if anybody who was to touch the book would come into grips of her curse and would eventually consume them.
