Fau was standing in a grass-field, as he saw a girl around his age standing a mile away.
He ran towards her, but as he did so, he fell through the earth and into darkness, but he could still faintly hear her the girl say: “Don’t die yet.”

Fau woke up to a bucket of water thrown in his face, and he saw a blonde man, who seemed to be only a few years older than Fau.
“Hello there” The man said.
Fau sat upright, and as he wanted to scratch his chin, he found that he couldn’t, because his arm wasn’t there!
Fau screamed.
“Whoa, easy there buddy.” The man said, “I’m working on an solution to… that.”
“Who even are you?” Fau wanted to know.
“Right, sorry, my name is Angus” He said, “I saw you laying there at the statue’s feet and he was about to kill you, so i snatched you away before he could do so.”
“Thanks” Fau said.
Angus smiled, “Well, what’s life without helping people?”

After a few minutes Angus came back with an arm with a shade of green in its skin.
“Is THAT my new arm?” Fau said, with shock in his voice.
“I know it’s not the best-looking arm, but it’s usable” Angus sighed, “It also came from a wizard, so there might be something still in there.”
Fau didn’t think that to sound so reassuring.
Angus gave Fau a pill.
“What’s this for?” He asked.
“You don’t want to feel metal piercing your skin, do you? this will make you fall asleep for about an hour.”
Fau gulped it down.
“I don’t feel mu-” He tried, before falling asleep.

“There you are again.” Fau heard the girl’s voice.
They now stood in an abandoned church, ruled by green vines and beautiful flowers.
It was astonishing to look at.
“The flowers are able to grow thanks to the fact that they were left alone.”
The young girl seemed to have grown into an incredibly wise and beautiful woman.
“Then we should probably leave them alone” Fau heard himself say.
The woman bowed her head in sadness.
“You’ve got much to learn.” She said.

Fau woke up, confused what just happened.
It must have been some sort of test. He thought.
“Uh, are you okay?” Angus asked nervously.
“Yeah.” Fau said.
“Well, your new arm has been attached, give it a try.” Angus said to him.
Fau did so, and tried to move his newly-acquired arm.
It felt strong, durable, but at the same time, like it was out of place.
Angus asked him: “How does it feel?”
Fau hesitated, but then said: “Uh, it feels… Strong, but like it doesn’t belong.”
Angus stayed silent, as if contemplating.
Then he said: “Well, i guess that makes sense, as it’s not your original arm. Y’know what? Why don’t you try and lift this bag with it?”
Angus picked up a heavy bag filled with sand.
Fau stretched out his arm towards the bag and lifted it effortlessly.
“Uh, well,” Fau said, “As easy as picking up a feather”
Angus noted something in his notebook, then asked: “By the way, since i helped you out with this, could you help me with something? I gotta remove some rocks from a cave-entrance, there might even be an alternative way into the forest, we don’t know!”
Fau was ecstatic to use his newly-found arm, so he said: “Of course.”

With his new arm, which seemed to be larger than his normal one, Fau easily picked up the rocks with his big hand, and threw them away.
The inside of the cave became more visible by the removed rock.
It seemed to be an old mine, and there were a few small glints of color visible through the stone, which would probably be either diamond or some kind of gem.
“Amazing,” Angus said, as he came closer to some color-glints, “This seems to be pretty high quality.”
“Uh, you got a torch or something i can use?” Fau asked him.
Angus kept rambling on about gems and ores.
Fau sighed and went back to Angus’s small hut to find a torch.
When he found one, he put the top in the fire at the hut’s entrance and went back to the cave to see where it led.
The cave was damp, small pieces of moss were eating away the wooden structure of what once would have been a mine.
Fau could feel the sweat in the air of the men who once worked their asses off in this mine.
As he continued to walk down the cave, Fau was wondering what he would find.
This cave has been abandoned for quite a while now, so there might be some interesting things to see.

After a few minutes of walking, Fau got tired, so he sat down at a warm, underground lake.
Ooh, nice and warm He thought, as he felt the warmth coming off the water.
But then Fau heard footsteps walk over the stone.
But they couldn’t be human, Fau could hear something hard scrape over the floor as it walked near.
He looked around, but couldn’t see anything.
Fau stood up, picked up his torch and walked around the corner that lead the lake into a river.
He couldn’t believe what he saw
