Phil had gone to Tesco, and bought Dan's favorite cereal, as promised, he bought a few of dans other favorite foods, “Todays the day, i’m gonna tell dan how i really feel.” he thought to himself, and continued walking the tesco, his blue shopping cart around his pale arms and nudging at his muse band tee that he had stolen from dan who knows how long ago.

He continued walking until he got up to the checkout stand, having some awkward small talk with the woman who was working there, she smiles and waved as he left , he got into his car and drove back home, thinking about dan and how he would tell him, He was nervous that dan wouldn't like him the same way and it would ruin everything. He sighed as he parked and walked up the long case of stairs, and into the apartment with the few brown paper bags that he had gotten from the store,

When he walked in Dan was sitting on the couch not paying any attention that Phil had walked in until he had heard the door shut, he turned around seeing Phil blushing slightly with the bags, “Oh Phil!, you’re back!, he smiled widely at phil making him feel weak,
“Get my cereal, Philly?”, “u-uh yeah!”, he didn't want Dan to know something was up, but Dan knowing Phil, he obviously did. “Phil?”, he asked nonchalantly, unpacking some of the food that phil had got, he hadn't gotten to the one with all of Dan's favorite foods yet, “I-uh, Dan, uhm..” he stuttered while trying to figure out what to say, he had it planned in his head, he drove the long way home just to prepare, but in that moment he had totally forgotten everything he had planned to say.

Dan moved to the other bag curiously and his eyes almost imminently lit up, “PHILL!!!” He was beaming at the sight of his roommate going out of his way to grab this stuff for him, he didn't even know that Phil knew he liked some of this stuff, he wanted to kiss Phil to show how thankful he was, but he knew he couldn't.

He looked back at Phil who was awkwardly blushing and standing in the kitchen with his hands in his pockets in the weird way Phil always had them in, and Dan smiled at this. Maybe Phil felt the same way as him?, he couldn't know for sure, so he pulled phil into a hug, the two tall boys lingered in the hug holding onto each other and Phil felt Dans head in the crook of his neck his lips almost touching his neck, he whispered “Thanks Phil”, and abruptly let go of Phil, Phil was an emotional mess, did Dan like him?, was he just toying with him?

The blue eyed boy looked into the honey-eyed boy and just stared for a second before realizing how weird that probably way and went to put his head down, but Dan held his arm and phil looked back at him, and Dan pulled Phil into a sweet and quick kiss, he quickly looked down, he couldn't look Phil in the eyes after that his mind was filled with thoughts of Phil hating him, or moving out, telling people that he had kissed Phil , or something awful of the sorts, but to his surprise Phil had been wanting this moment for more than he would have liked to say, Phil grabbed Dans hand and squeezed it lightly, letting him know he was okay, that was something that they had done for a while, it was their small secret, and it was often seen in videos, and fans had been ecstatic about what the small squeezes could be, they would never tell them obviously, it was something small, but sweet for the two of them, something special and unique.

Dan looked up to see Phil smiling and he pulled into another hug, Phil was practically a ball of sunshine after that, he knew that Dan loved him, and that Phil loved Dan back, he unlocked from the hug, and held Dans other hand with his, both of theirs interlocked now, seemingly perfect for eachother, two puzzle pieces bound to find each other, Phils expression was so happy it looked like he would cry, “Dan i-, dan i love you so much.”, he was at a loss for words, he didn't know what to say to dan except that he loved him, Dan smiled softly, he had everything he had ever wanted, nothing could ever ruin them, right?
