Yuji and Megumi walk along the sidewalk, towards their destination. They walk for a few more miles before finally getting to the entrance of the Center. Two guards halt them demanding identification. Megumi clenches his fist, getting annoyed by this hold up. Yuji puts his hand in front of him and gives him a look. Megumi sighs and calms himself, Yuji steps forward.

Yuji runs behind him. Once the two get inside they look around for building two. They begin to walk around, going past multiple buildings but not the one they are looking for. They notice the lack of guards around, and stay cautious. After a few more minutes of searching they come across a half destroyed building and a large strange sphere floating above it.

Megumi instantly feels the presence of the curse standing right in front of them. He turns his attention to it, immediately pulling out his sword. Yuji takes his battle stance, and both rush in at the curse. Megumi jumps up and goes for a slash from above, while Yuji, goes in for a strike from behind the cursed flames enveloping his fist.

The curse blocks Megumi’s slash, and moves out of the way of Yuji’s punch, causing him to stumble. Once Yuji regains his composure, and Megumi touches the ground they both nod at each other and rush at the curse using their full speed. Megumi quickly forms a hand sign.

The giant snake bursts from the ground, underneath them, using its tail to fling the curse into the air. Megumi and Yuji jump off the snake towards the curse. Megumi slashes through it, and Yuji strikes it. They continue to jump up and attack it over and over. Megumi forms another hand sign.

A large bird-like shikigami swoops in picking up Yuji and carrying him high into the air. The snake wraps its tail around the curse and keeps it held up. The bird once high enough drops Yuji over the curse, he lets out a loud yell as his fist envelopes in explosive flames. He comes down on the curse with the punch perfectly striking its head, and causing a large explosion. Yuji crashes to the ground but quickly gets back up. Megumi and Yuji watch as the smoke clears to see if their attack had any effect.

The shikigami disappear, Yuji nods, flaring up the flames around his fists. Megumi reaches into his shadow pulling out a three sectioned staff held by chains, called the Playful Cloud. The curse grins, as it immediately appears behind the two, not much to their surprise as they immediately turn around to attack it. Yuji using full force throws a punch at its back, sending it flying forward and exploding where it lands.

The cures waves his arm to clear the smoke only to be struck by Megumi relentlessly swinging his weapon. The curse dodges some of the swings but is hit by most. It tries slamming its fists down on Megumi but he quickly jumps out of the way, making the curses fist hit the ground, crumbling it. Megumi starts to swing even faster, making his attempts harder to avoid, the curse is hit multiple times and pushed back.

Yuji thinks for a moment looking at the fire around his fists. He then decides to try something, he starts to hover his hand above the other and moves it in a circular motion collecting the flames into a sphere. Yuji’s eyes widen at the fact that it actually worked, and he collects more of the flames into the sphere. He then aims at the curse, who's still trying to avoid Megumi’s strikes or land a hit. Yuji pulls his hands back and chucks the sphere at the curse.

Megumi senses the attack coming and quickly jumps back when the fireball hits the curse and creates a massive explosion. Megumi lands on the ground, taking back his position.

Yuji nods, collecting more flames creating another sphere. The curse lets out an enraged yell and rushes forward at Yuji. he acts quick and once it gets close enough he smacks the sphere against its face, causing an explosion that Yuji is pushed back by. The curse emerges from the smoke, severely weakened. Megumi rushes in and relentlessly starts swinging his weapon at the curse, it fails to dodge any of his attacks.

Megumi drops down and sweeps its legs, making it fall flat on its back. Megumi leaps back as Yuji flung another sphere at the curse, it of course exploding doing more damage than before. He flings more and more at the curse, weakening it further and further. Once the last one is sent, Megumi puts the Playful Cloud away and brings out a normal sword. He goes over to the curse who lies on the ground too weak to move anymore.

He immediately shoves the sword through its head, killing it off immediately and destroying the womb in the process. The large inside of the building melts down, revealing its true destroyed form as seen on the outside. Yuji walks over, looking down at the corpse.

He transfers an absolutely large amount of cursed energy to them, which they take better this time, feeling significantly less pain than before. Once he’s done he lets them go, and gives a thumbs up.
