Sherlock's P.O.V
"I don't see anyone, Sherlock."
"No, no, no, no! She was right there, right there!" I pointed multiple times as I ran and looked out of the window. Nothing. I ran over to my chair.
"Uh... Are you OK Sherlock?"
"Yes!" I picked up the book lying on the chair.
"Umm... Sherlock?" John lifted his eyebrow and put down the groceries that he held in his hand.
"She was reading this book, and she was sitting on my chair!" I picked up the book and shoved it into his now free hands.
"Whoa, Sherlock are you OK?"
"You already said that, and yes I am!" I continued rummaging around my pockets and got out my magnifying glass. Nothing. Not even one hair.
How did she do that?
What evidence can I get?
What did she touch?
The book!
God, why am I so blunt? The answer is right in front of me!
"John!"
"What?" John gave me a weird look. He was also in deep thought. It's plain obvious with that dumb look on his face.
"You're holding the evidence!" I slipped some gloves on and snatched the book away from him. "Look, you've ruined it. So many fingerprints from you."
"And yours." Partially I did, but let's not admit that.
"I was in deep thought!"
Suddenly, the door creaked open.
"Oh, you two. you're just like a married couple. I brought tea."
"Thanks, Mrs Hudson. Sherlock's on cocaine right now so you should stay downstairs." John took the tea tray into his arms and set it down.
"Again?" Mrs Hudson looked really concerned as she stayed in the doorway, aware of what happened last time.
"Yeah." John furrowed his eyebrows as he spoke.
"I'm not!" When will Mrs Hudson understand?!
"Well, I'll leave everything to you John. Have a nice time you two."
"I'm not gay, Mrs Hudson!" I shook my head as I looked around the book.
"Yeah, he's married to his work."
"You're making it sound like you're gay John."
"I'm not. I've got a date with Alexandra tonight."
"Whatever you say, Watson. Just to let you know, 'Sentiment is a chemical defect on the losing side.'"
"Come again?"
"He's trying to say that love is weak."
"Mrs Hudson, as wise as ever." I turned around and smiled.
"Oh Sherlock, you're flattering me!"
"Or maybe it's just because John isn't smart."
"Hey! I'm out of here. Come on Mrs Hudson, Sherlock is much too annoying to be around right now." John walked out of the doorway, with Mrs Hudson trailing behind.
