Born in 1972 in Berlin, Emilia Bauer had lived her entire life with a wall separating her city in half. Worse still, her half lived in poverty and barely managed day-by-day.

Born in 1970 in Berlin, Jessen Albrecht had lived his entire life with a wall separating his city in half. Worse still, he knew of the poverty of disease in the other half, he had to live knowing he was living right next to imminent death.

When Jessen sends a letter over to his aunt in East Berlin, it get's mixed up in delivery, ending up in Emilia's hands. Once the two start exchanging letters, feelings start to arise that may cause more pain than pleasure.
