Everyone always knew Greta Bulomos was a spoiled child, it was just her personality. Her parents just gave her whatever she wanted and left her alone. As she got older, she became the most popular girl in school, considering her father ran Pear Technologies, one of the highest earning tech companies, and her mother was a world-famous fashion model. Greta was also a known bully, the apex predator of her school. She would target anyone who didn't fit up to her standards, and she would make sure they were tortured mentally and psychologically.
After years of her bratty and somewhat cruel behavior, her parents finally put the foot down and decided to teach her a lesson. With a single bag and suitcase, Greta's parents sent her to a place in Texas called, Harlem. They dropped her off in the small town and drove away, not giving her any sense of direction or a place to stay. Hell, she wasn't even given any money to buy food.
"Ugh...this is so stupid..." Greta mumbled to herself as she walked along the dirt road, trying to find a place to stay. Greta found out that there was barely any signal so, she couldn't find a hotel on the internet. Eventually, Greta hid behind a farmhouse, miles away from where she was originally dropped off. Even though her hair was all messed up, she had to force herself to curl up on her suitcase and sleep near the back of the farmhouse in an old shed she found.
Hours later, Greta was awoken by the sound of crunching grass and low chuckling. She immediately dashed behind a bunch of soil bags, realizing that the noises were coming from outside. Suddenly, a loud crack was heard and the doors to the shed flew open, revealing two men dressed in black slowly entering. "Lookie here...seems this farm chick is hiding some goods" The lanky man commented as he scrounges through the piles, looking for something. Even though Greta tried to stay quiet, thee other, more pudgy man found her. "Yo string bean! We gots ourselves a little treat for later!" He yelled out as he pulled Greta out of her hiding place. "L-Let go of me!" Greta exclaimed as she squirmed around in the man's arms, trying to free herself." The lanky man suddenly grabbed her taser from Greta's suitcase and shocked her in the neck. Greta then fell limp as her eyes grew heavy. "No no no, we can't have our new little doll making a fuss~" The pudgy man crooned as they searched her for anything valuable.
Their little robbery was cut short by the sounds of a dog barking and footsteps approaching. "What the hell do you think you're doing?!" A woman, Bianca Lumes, yelled out with her pistol in hand as her dog attacked the men. They yelped with pain and dropped their stuff before running away, leaving Greta almost nude and unconscious.
Bianca then noticed Greta and she slowly approached her before she wrapped her in her own robe before carrying her inside of the farmhouse. "Poor girl..." Bianca mumbled as she gently laid her down in the bed of the guest bedroom and tucking her in. She then gently bandaged the multiple cuts on her body from the shed and cleaned up that burn mark where the men shocked her.
The next morning, Greta woke up in surprise, she was sleeping in a bed. The last thing she remembered was getting tased by the men with her own taser. As Greta got up from the bed, she noticed that her suitcase was placed neatly on the ground and the clothes she wore were neatly folded. She blushed heavily in embarrassment but sighed in relief when she noticed that she was still clothed. Whoever saved her had been nice enough to get her something comfy to wear while sleeping.
The smell of eggs and pancakes filled her senses as she hesitantly walked down the stairs, nervous to see who's house she was currently in. As her light steps pressed against the stairs, she heard a woman humming in the kitchen. As Greta was able to get a better view, it was a woman of about the same age as her. Her long, chocolate brown hair was bunched in a braid that rested on her right shoulder. Her deep hazel eyes were so gorgeous and went well with her perfectly tan skin and adorable freckles.
Greta was surprised at the gorgeous woman. But then she remembered that the men mentioned something about "A farm girl". Only a little thankful for her help, but still feeling degraded that she needed the help of a weak peasant.
Greta plopped herself down at the dining table, waiting for food. Bianca then notices Greta's presence, "Oh! I see you've woken up. I'm Bianca...Bianca Lumes." She states in a warm way as she holds out her hand towards Greta. "...Greta Bulomos... but I didn't need any help from someone like you..." Greta scoffed coldly as she dusts off her clothes and heads back upstairs.
"Oh...I guess she's one of those...?" Bianca mumbled to herself as she went back to fixing up breakfast and eating alone. While this wasn't normal, Bianca thought it was worthless to be hostile towards Greta. Especially since she now knows about Greta's prestigious heritage.
"Damn it...you stupid bitch...why were you so rude to her?" Greta thought to herself as she was plopped down on the on the bed with her face buried in her hands. Greta couldn't help it, she wanted to be thankful for Bianca's help but her ego was too strong to even let a sliver of vulnerability to be shown. After all, she was the daughter of the CEO of Pear Technologies, someone like her would not be caught dead thanking a mere commoner.
As Greta was slumped down the guest bed, she heard the creak of the door opening as well as the sound of a jingling bell. Greta sat up and looked over to find a grey and fluffy cat had entered the room and jumped up on her bed with its tiny little paws. Greta had smiled softly and gently pets the cat that had crawled into her lap and started purring.
Little did Greta know, Bianca had secretly watched the scene between Greta and her cat. Bianca's heart swelled at the sight of Greta being her true self was something quite adorable and sweet. Bianca finally decided to walk inside the guest room. "Well...it seems Stormy has taken a liking to you..." Bianca whispers softly with a smile as she approaches Greta and sits down on the bed in front of her.
Greta jumps slightly as she hears that voice of Bianca. Greta just decided that it would be better to stay silent in order to not hurt Bianca after she had been so nice to her.
"Hmm...Are you still not interested in talking to me...?" Bianca asks softly, her eyes downcast as she looked at Greta with genuine affection towards her. Bianca gently scooted closer towards Greta. "If you're not feeling well, just tell me and I can take care of you...I know you don't like me since I do know that you're not very liking of middle class people like me..." Bianca whispers softly as she gently reassures Greta.
Greta's eyes widened slightly, still trying not to show how flustered she was from the closeness between her and Bianca. Greta was a little more shy than disdainful towards this gorgeous country girl that had saved her life. "...umm...uhh..." Greta mumbles softly as she slowly feels her cheeks flushing in embarrassment. "...Pretty Lumi...." Greta blurts out before looking away in embarrassment.
Bianca had laughed softly while blushing softly as she sits there. "Greta...My name's Bianca...But, that's quite a cute nickname..." Bianca whispers with a small chuckle as she gently tucks Greta's hair behind her ear while smiling softly. Bianca smiles softly as she smiles warmly.
Greta's face went completely red as she still buries her face in her hands, overwhelmed from the attention. Sooner or later, Greta's eyes finally meet with Bianca's as she finally realizes that she can't exactly hide behind her Mean Girl persona. "...I'm sorry...Bianca..." She had whispered softly as she gently hugged Bianca, feeling a little safe and grateful for her protection and hospitality.
