2017
I tested out drawings on larger paper size ("Grand format" in French). I wanted to know if I was capable to produce a bigger drawing and how it will look like.
I used a sanguine pencil (or red chalk) for this drawing. This technique gives a really beautiful result. And the bigger the drawing is, the merrier the impact on the eye is. Dimensions-> 56 cm X 76 cm (a little less than a A1 format (in ISO 216 standard) and in French it called "format Jesus" in Afnor standard).
I used two tones of sanguine, this is the first one, more lighter and intense. The second, in the next post, more darker and stronger.55Please respect copyright.PENANASlp68IIKmE
In fact, these two drawings are part of a series where I am experimenting textures on high size papers with the sanguine, charcoal and the pastel (pastel is the last one, that I am currently trying to finish). I will just show two of them, though.
