Prison bars blaring at the baton hitting it. Grizeo's eyes flutter open, his vision slowly adjusting to the dim light. He sits up, wincing at the throbbing pain in his head and side. That which his body is clothed in full white. With two TaKaRa soldiers stand guard outside the cell, their faces impassive behind their helmets.

"Where am I?" Grizeo asks hoarsely, his hand searching for something around his waist.

Before the soldiers can respond, the sound of footsteps echoes down the corridor. A scientist appears, his lab coat pristine and his smile sharp. "Awakened as resulted by me. Welcome to TaKaRa, Grizeo," he says with a smile that should have been upside down. "I am Dr. Tutili, and I'll be overseeing your stay with us."

"What do you want from me?"
138Please respect copyright.PENANA5C0kq8wJrO
“We heard from a reliable member of ours that you like running errands” Dr. Tutili chuckles. " Of course, Your skills are quite valuable to our organization as the ground footmen reported of your feat at defeating a gold class discord and one of our successful experiments.”

“So, you want to turn me into her?”
138Please respect copyright.PENANAia8UuNxx24
“No, where did you even get that? As of now, you and all your property belong to TaKaRa and will be staying in this base until Dr. Bolg finishes his research with us. I hope that you can get along with your cellmates once cafeteria is over."

Grizeo shakes his head, his jaw clenching. "So, Bolg works with you now?”
138Please respect copyright.PENANA5dUE8lLZRr
“He always has, but just a week ago he contacted us and needing support for his personal experiment. Though, he also exchanged time and you to help us with our own.”
138Please respect copyright.PENANAlgSx2j6J4H
“Why?”
138Please respect copyright.PENANABPlkEWdIDm
“For the resources he needed of course. And we scientists in TaKaRa don’t pry with others’ works as long as they contribute a bit to the greater whole. And what he shared last time about the lament, coming from your report he said, was simply revolutionizing. Like how did you manage to transport yourself and still intact inside? How you got out? And how you maintained a considerable amount of time without any proper protection.”

“So, this was his idea”

“Dragging you along like his little pet dog? Yes, but the kidnapping was ours.” Shameless of this scientist, as he turns and leaves. Leaving Grizeo alone with his thoughts and the silent guards. Who decides to open the cell thirty minutes later and ask Grizeo to follow the hallway to the cafeteria. Which is a good idea because the young man feels his stomach eating him his guts from the inside out.

The hallway is plain white and empty. With gray sliding doors that lets off steam as they open and either a soldier or a scientist comes out. Going straight along the path without any turns or curves, there at the end is an open chamber where the five hundred commons, or what they call as prisoners here, gather. Long tables where they eat, a play area, karaoke, food stalls, a hallway leading to a sauna and bath, basically anything a rich man can ask for, all connected in this large open chamber. Purple leaves and the high sun above them.

Grizeo strolls around, mainly going about to the food stalls and looking for food. He thought he can get whatever he wants, sticking his finger in for a stick of grilled bread toast but the bread lady slaps his hand and tells him that he is bugger unless he has the coins. “What coins?” the newbie asks.

Which the baker lady immediately apologizes and says she did not know. She calls out to “JEREMY!”, her son it seems. And ask him to bring Grizeo to a table and talk about the currency stuff and how trade works in a TaKaRan base prison.

Jeremy, a curly haired boy who introduces himself being twenty-three—a year younger than Grizeo before explaining what the prison system here is all about. Grizeo does not listen and only got the part how the coins can be earned at the brawl arena, helping food owners, finding work among the scientists or ganging up against weaklings. Then he proceeds to not listen after the half an hour monologue of how he got ganged. Grizeo would have been drooling sleeping but fortunately, the baker lady is kind enough to give free meals for the young man’s first stay. And he manages to ask Jeremy, “Do you know Dr. Bolg?”
138Please respect copyright.PENANAJHOlO4nOed
“Dr.? You mean a scientist? I’m not entirely sure of the scientists around here because they keep changing.”
138Please respect copyright.PENANAB2zPqgNs5u
“What about your mother?”
138Please respect copyright.PENANAHtaswsAZ0i
“Less likely”
138Please respect copyright.PENANA3K2ml6ZYBp
“Then, who here knows how I can get to a scientist?”
138Please respect copyright.PENANAUqMZY409ny
“And what do you mean by that? You mean threaten them? You’d get electrocuted right on the spot!”
138Please respect copyright.PENANA7DVNA7Q41H
“What are you two talking about now?” The baker lady asks, “If you two are planning on a heist best not do it.”
138Please respect copyright.PENANADF9TiNGAu3
“Ma, it’s this new guy who is looking for a scientist named Dr. Bolg”
138Please respect copyright.PENANASf8cXq31qv
“Oh? I don’t know him.”
138Please respect copyright.PENANAfLGRLfjMz2
“Yeah, expected much.”
138Please respect copyright.PENANAluHKnXOfKw
“Looking for scientists specifically is not easily. Lest you are one of the mice.”
138Please respect copyright.PENANAlQz3rZgddO
Grizeo gulps down the last of his grilled bread, “Mice? That is not the animal, right?”
138Please respect copyright.PENANAITx6Cxsela
“No, just a term for those experimented. Just like that poor sod” pointing at the blue haired boy whose ears are as pointy as needles. “Boy drinks tacetite pills every ten minutes other wise he would lose control.”

Grizeo stands and heads for the boy despite the warnings of the baker lady and Jeremy. There is no harm in talking to him. At least, that is what he thought, “Hi” he greets, offering a hand but met with no handshake, nor a greet back. The boy simply continues eating, staring at his own plate. “Hi again” but again nothing.

And Grizeo walks away before more eyes watch him. He walks up to a guard and ask for tacetite pills. But the guard says that it is only administered to those who are mice or has tacet marks that are not tattoos. He thinks that the one on Grizeo’s cheek is a tattoo until Grizeo’s ember eyes burn and the tattoo glows. Threatening the guard to give him tacetite before he loses control. And the guard quickly made steps to a door, swiping his id and entering a room.

They bring out a shoebox, right for his size. Actually, it is full of tacetite and the guard asks Grizeo to take five and only five. He does not bother asking and takes five. Before walking pass the guard, sneaky hands taking what is not his and leaving for his prison cell. Tucking the card in a place where they would least expect.
