After healing, Leslie told Tat to bring him to the gallery where Bai Ji Dan was staying.
This time was like before.
The rich man did not buy a ticket in advance. When he arrived at the front door, the guard did not block; he took him to the reception desk.
"Tell your boss that I want to meet him," Leslie said.
"What can I tell him your name, sir?" Female receptionist said.
"Leslie Wong."
"Yes, please wait."
The receptionist raised the phone to her ear, then made a call.
Leslie stood silently and calmly. Behind him Tat was standing. The confidant stayed still only body, but eyes moved. His peepers were throwing at security cameras that were like eyes of pineapple. Those devices could scan every moves of the come-in-persons. Tat believed that Bai Ji Dan was watching his boss and him from somewhere in the building.
Correct. From the upper floor, Bai Ji Dan was sitting on a chair and looking at the screen of the camera. He eyed the grandson of Wong Wen that was presenting in his gallery reception room. It was not strange; he could guess that Leslie would come to him - because of the painting.
Though he had said that he would not allow Leslie to bother his business, he could not be dispassionate to see the pretty dude lose face; he could not refuse like he had done to other business men; therefore, he called Shan, "Bring him to meet me."
"Yes."
Shan went down immediately to appear before the special guest of his patron.
"Young master Wong," Shan bowed, "please follow me."
Leslie did not say, he walked following Shan, and Tat was after him.
Three guys entered the elevator.
Later, an electronic door opened and Shan led young Wong and his confidant along the quiet corridor to a room with a big door made by brown wood that was smooth like glass. When they reached, Shan unlocked the opener, "Please, young master Wong."
Leslie walked in. When he got inside, he noticed it was a sports room. In the middle, there was one boxing arena and Bai Ji Dan was standing there.
"How are you doing, Young master Wong?" Bai Ji Dan said.
Leslie did not utter. He viewed the man inside the ring box that was smiling at him.
"I'm worried about you. Now, see your expression, my mind is at ease. You look good."
"I'm always good," Leslie said.
Bai Ji Dan grinned, "At last, you speak with me. I thought you were dumb."
"I don't like circumlocution. My aim is painting. Tell me what you want in order to agree to give it to me."
Through an explicit voice, bro could sense that the grandson of Wong was strongly determined and he would never give up unless he got what he wanted.
"Old rule," Bai Ji Dan claimed.
"Fine," Leslie wagged head. "I'll fight with you."
Bai Ji Dan extended small lips, "You should know, if you lose..."
"I know," Leslie spoke with face up. "I have prepared already. If I lose, I allow you to torture me."
Words of the director made Tat shocked. He hurriedly came in, "Young master..." but Leslie rose palm to stop him, "I decide already. If I lose today, I will come tomorrow. If tomorrow I lose, after tomorrow I will come back. I will keep coming until I win."
Hearing the words of the master, Tat dropped his shoulders. He blew and made a face low. In the heart of the confidant, there was a heavy mountain pressing. The right-hand-man was very worried. However, he had no phrase to utter - because he knew that what his boss had already made a decision, no one could swap.
Not only Tat, even Bai Ji Dan was surprised to perceive the promise of the young guy. Elder man could see how strong the heart of this boy was. Though, what he said could not be changed either - Leslie had to win over him to get close to the white water lily painting.
After dealing, Leslie took off his jacket and gave it to Tat, then he went up to the arena.
From down, Tat and Shan stood and watched their own boss.
Unlike Shan, Tat's face was so sad. The guy knew that his director could not defeat the owner of the arena for sure. He realized what would happen next. He was clear that he could not help anything. What he could do now was he wished for his manager to be less harmful though he lost.
"Prepare?" Bai Ji Dan said.
Leslie raised up his eyebrow, "Um."
"Then come," Bai Ji Dan smiled.
Leslie jumped in with a powerful fist throwing at the male designer. Young chap truly tried all his best. Still like before, though he worked hard, he could not touch his combatant.
"You are fast, but not enough," Bai Ji Dan uttered.
Leslie was in small vex. He increased his action rate; he advanced his attack. He kicked his hard leg, but Bai Ji Dan got it, then he paid his leg back and made the young man step backwards.
Dude jumped in again. He planned to beat the cheek of the fighter, but he failed. Instead, he was bullied by multiple paws of the gallery owner and fell down sitting on the floor of the arena. Leslie could sense pain over his stomach. Though, he did not escape. He got up and hopped towards the elder bro.
'He will get wounds if I keep fighting.' Bai Ji Dan thought.
Because he did not want the younger bro to get injured, he decided to end combat - by defeating the young guy to sleep belly on the arena floor.
"You lose," Bai Ji Dan claimed.
Leslie took a blow then he raised up his body.
Quickly, Tat ran up to assist his boss to stand.
"I lost. I keep my words," Leslie said.
Bai Ji Dan watched the spoke-man that was standing before him. In his heart felt something that he could not see clearly even though it was inside his chest and he was the owner of it.
"Go to my room," Bai Ji Dan claimed, then walked off.
"Young master," Tat grabbed Leslie's forearm. His face showed upset and worry.
"I'll be back," Leslie said. "Keep my jacket."
Tat bowed head, then released his hand.
Leslie dropped eyes for a second, then raised them up and walked bravely through the door that Shan was holding for.25Please respect copyright.PENANA8fIHCAJTrk
