I know that my use of... what was it called again? Ah yes! An ellipses was used incorrectly but I like the way it looks. Seeing as I am, was, an American I believe I have the right to be free in anything I do, including bad grammar when the situation suits me.
So where was I, oh yes! I was on my way home from the market when I met... her. She didn’t look much older than me, but dang she was gorgeous! She had pretty brown hair that flowed with the light breeze, and full, red lips. She also had a feel to her that made it seem like she could take on any situation that was thrown at her, but the most noticeable thing about her was her dazzling violet eyes. They were as magnificent as diamonds, and had an even greater glow to them.

I thought desperately to start a conversation, but my mind was apparently taking a crap or something because that's all that would come out of my mouth if I spoke.

Now this may not seem like a very amazing statement, but trust me, it was. First off, it is always better when a girl starts a conversation as it makes it seem like you are not an outgoing person, but later in the relationship that can turn around and then you can show them your true self. Secondly it means that they might have some interest in you, however small it may be, which is even better than the first reason. With this in mind, I will continue.

She said “will” as in its going to happen rather than “would” which would indicate that it might happen. For that I was ecstatic! I mean, I was the guy in high school who everyone pitied because I got shot down so many times that you could count the bullet holes on my heart, or what was left of it. So the fact that she had taken me up on my offer after only knowing her for a good three minutes felt awesome.
“There’s a coffee shop just past that corner over there if you would like to join me.” I questioned.
At that point I had to act cool or I might loose her. I was not usually so calm, but I felt like I should be around her.
“Oh and by the way, what is your name?” I asked.
“Theta, Theta B. Latch.” She answered.

We then entered to the coffee shop. At the counter I ordered regular black coffee, instead of the normal Carmel Macchiato with low fat milk. I was trying to impress her in a sense by getting something strong and bland rather than the girlie drinks that I loved so much. To my surprise she ordered a Carmel Macchiato. “Huh, what a coincidence” I thought to myself.
We sat down and talked about the usual mundane things in life, like the weather and such. Then we started talking about our lives and the thing we wanted to do when we got older. We talked for a long while and I realized that I felt something strange happening. I couldn’t explain it, but I had this feeling that this girl was beginning to become something precious to me. I had only known her for less than a day but I felt a connection form and the look in her eyes told me she did too.strange happening.
