Once my wishing words were said through my hopful voice and my eyes fixed to the starry sky and full moon above me, nothing happened. Only a soft cool breeze brushed gently the long grass around me. The hooting of an owl was heard in the distance where the trees of the forest began. Slowly some fireflies began to glow across the grass field. I sighed deeply to get rid of the heavy feeling of disappointment, maybe I just need to be patient. The wish needs time to develop or awaits till the time is right to fullfill. Just maybe.
Suddenly my heart began to race as if I had run five miles as fast as I could. Nearly everywhere in my body I felt some strange twitching right under my skin soon followed some strange stretching as if invisible hands were holding me apart or pulling me. I began to pant and my skin was moist of sweat.
What is happening?
Suddenly great pain burned in my hands. I gasped held them up to my eyes. My usual hands grew slowly longer and bony including my nails grew longer and claw a like. No!
"What is happening!" I wondered to myself out loud.
A burst of cough occured and felt at the same time how my voice changes from a young woman's to an old croaking voice.
"No!" I screetched.
Out of fear I began to walk fast as I could across the grass field and into the forest, at times running but soon I was out of breath and had to lean against a tree. Coincedently close from the tree I was leaning lay a small puddle of rainwater from this morning. From it I saw my reflection or what suppose to be mine. I did not see a young woman staring in awe but an elderly woman with a long sharp nose, thin grey straight long hair hanging over my crooked back. I look like a witch! No, I AM a witch!832Please respect copyright.PENANAb4q5KSCs5M
