It was a normal day at the coffee shop. Soft music was playing people walking outside on their phones, talking to their friends, and minding their own business. The sun shone into the big glass windows of the coffee shop. A girl was looking out the window reading a book. She had dark fluffy black hair that went down to her shoulder blades parts of it sticking up everywhere, her eyes a deep dark purple but still had a shine to them she had a more dark Caramel kind of skin tone that went well with the big yet little thick oversized sweatshirt she was wearing that was also a deep dark purple color. Her legs were crossed she had big loss ankle warmers on that went well with her white and bit of a frilly skirt she was wearing with a bit of a darker lace. She had on black combat boots that were not too noticeable since most of the boots were covered by ankle warmers. She had a white band on the top of her head keeping her wild black fluffy hair from out of her face. She looked out the window and then back at her book.

The girl was soon daydreaming and drifting off into her mind until a hand was slammed down on her table. “Haru! Haru, are you listening to anything I’m saying? “ Haru jumped a bit, almost dropping her book. She looked at the friend in front of her. She had dark brown eyes with long pink hair pulled up into a ponytail but the roots were starting to show. She had a tattoo on her arm and was in a pink crop top with short blue jean shorts on her hot pink thong showing on the sides. Her nails were long and also hot pink, her lips glossy from lip gloss. She had a nice tan but the crop top was so short you could see her tan lines when she lifted her arms too high. She was wearing heart earrings, different types of rings, and a bunch of bracelets. Haru stuttered looking at her friend “S-sorry sorry …I was just getting lost in my book! It’s not like I’m trying to ignore you, I was not tiff “. The pink-haired girl sighed and crossed her arms before sitting down in front of her fluffy-haired friend speaking a bit of an attitude “Oh it’s fine …you just made me seem like I was waving to no one though people started staring at me was all …not like I didn’t like the attention though …what are you reading about?”

She asked her friend and blinked. She was genuinely curious and showed her friend the book. It was just some fantasy romance novel. She blushed a bit tiff rolled her eyes and spoke again. “Oh one of your cheesy romance books again are you that bored or that lonely? If you want I can always hook you up with that hot frat boy ~”. She teased leaning on over the table a bit getting into her friend's face. Haru waved her hands around and lightly hit Tiff on the head with the book causing Tiff to give a pout and sit back down in the chair. Haru spoke with a sigh “You know he’s not my type he’s so loud and a bit self-obsessed…I saw him looking so hard at pictures of himself in class once I thought he was gonna make out with his phone “Tiff couldn’t help but let out a small laugh at Harus comment she then spoke between few giggles “ya I know but you gotta give him credit I would make out with myself if I looked like him to “. Haru rolled her eyes and spoke pressing her lips into a straight line and bouncing her leg up and down “Tiff I’m sure in your spare time you make out with your self-mirror now “ she giggled herself both girls just kept talking and chatting with each other.

More time passed and soon it was around 4:45 already Haru looked at her phone it had a little bunny key chain on it her eyes got wide as she got up. “O-oh man I didn’t notice we talked for a solid four hours …I should get going I have studying to do and this class project is due tomorrow…..in the morning “She let out a groan and a whine thinking about how much she still had left to do tiff rolled her eyes and got up as well before speaking “oh calm down I’m sure you will get it done you always do but I need to get going as well I have a hair appointment and it looks like it’s gonna run soon to “ both girls looked out the window and up into the sky as the clouds started to get dark and gray. “No! Not rain too I just did my hair it’s gonna get all frizzy and Curley …I swear Water and me were not meant to get along “ she sighed again as grabbed her hoodie from her bag it was sailor moon-themed she put it on and tied her hair back putting the hood up. Tiff patted her back “Well we should probably stop talking and get going ..I’ll see you in class Haru! Can’t wait to see your presentation “She smiled at her friend and waved before grabbing her jacket and walking out of the coffee shop the bell at the top of the door making a little jingle sound. Haru sighed again and also walked out and looked up at the sky. “Please please please don’t start raining till I get home “

She started walking down the sidewalk walk her phone in hand scrolling through Instagram. Just then a loud crack of thunder made its way threw the sky and it started pouring down rain. She let out a yelp that loud crack of thunder sounded almost like a loud pop and more like a gun. She was too busy thinking about how frizzy her hair was gonna be to think too deeply about those sounds she just started walking faster down the side still she hit her apartment complex she got her keys out and just as she was about to walk inside she looked down at the door mat She say her eyes “ what..what is that red stuff ? ..is is that food ? Or maybe juice …wait n-no no that’s not “ when she touched the door nob she felt something warm and wet touch her hand. She looked at her hand it was covered with blood fresh blood. “I-is this some kind of a joke ….why why is their blood “She then looked to her left and then right and saw the blood spilling out of an alley her face went a little white “This is like a scary movie 101 basic don’t go into an alley alone especially if there’s blood …but someone could be hurt in there or worse “

She finally got the bravery to walk into the alley she didn’t know what she was gonna do. She held her phone tight thankfully it was not pitch black outside or anything. The only thing that could be heard was her footsteps and the sound of rain droplets hitting the cold hard ground. “H-hello? Hello? Is anyone in here? Hello ? “ just then looking down at the ground there was a gun and two girls lying on the floor they both seemed to be bleeding and both seemed to just barely have been breathing. Haru let out the loudest scream and dropped her phone walking backward and falling on her butt she scooted back she spoke loud and terrified.” Oh my god! Oh my god! Are they dead!?” She quickly scrambled up to them on her hands and knees feeling both of their necks for a pulse she sighed a bit relieved “o-ok ok they are both alive that’s good I guess …but there is so much blood …o-oh god I need to call 911” she said with a shaky voice she then picked up her phone and called keeping pressure on both their wounds. She spoke to the operator “H-hello! Hello! Y-yes yes please please help me I-i found these two girls and they both bleeding there is so much blood I-i can’t keep it all in p-please come quickly “ and with that she waited for the ambulance to come on there way.
