So i know im a bit late but there is this story that wont leave my mind its been stuck in my head for a while now and i dont know how to write it right so that it actually makes sense but here it is. Its about a girl named Bria shes 15 and her life is a mess her mom died when she was little and now she lives with her dad who drinks and gets violent every day she just tries to get by. Its winter and everything feels cold even though the snow is falling she spends most of her days smoking alone outside school in the parking lot just trying to escape the chaos at home. She’s an outsider at school nobody notices her except for the bullies but then she meets Amber. Amber is everything Bria isn’t. She’s popular and pretty and confident but there’s something real about her too something that makes Bria feel like maybe life could be better than just surviving. They start hanging out at an old abandoned train station Amber showed her. its their place to escape everything. They talk about how they’ll leave this city one day when they’re older but then one day Amber just disappears. No goodbye no note nothing. Bria tries to move on but Amber is always on her mind she keeps thinking about her and everything they talked about. She calls the police but nothing comes up. Amber’s parents dont care they dont seem worried at all. It’s like she was never even there. Six months pass and Bria tries to forget but every day it gets harder. One night after her dad slaps her and yells at her she runs out of the house crying she runs toward the old train station the place they used to hang out. She finds a locked hidden room in the abandoned station where the toilets used to be. It’s dusty forgotten but inside there are clues. Old pictures of Amber and other girls some she doesn’t recognize but all of them with creepy haunting smiles. There’s also a journal one that’s been written in by Amber and it starts making things click. Amber was in deeper trouble than Bria ever realized. She was involved with people who were dangerous people who used her. Amber was trying to leave them all behind but now Bria realizes it might be too late.
Bria decides she’s not going to let it go. She starts digging into Amber’s life contacting people Amber knew people from her past trying to get answers. Every clue she uncovers leads her to darker places. She learns that Amber’s life wasn’t as perfect as it seemed. She’d been hiding things secrets that Bria couldn’t even begin to understand. It’s not just about Amber’s disappearance anymore. It’s about why she disappeared and who was involved. The more Bria gets closer to the truth the more dangerous it becomes. Someone doesn’t want her to know. Someone will do anything to keep her from discovering what really happened to Amber.
As Bria gets deeper into the mystery she starts realizing that maybe she wasn’t the only one who was trapped. Amber’s story might just be the key to Bria escaping the cycle of abuse she’s stuck in. But the closer she gets to the truth the harder it becomes to trust anyone and Bria starts questioning if she can survive this or if she’ll be lost like Amber. Amber was dead. She got killed.
