"I don't know why you are acting like this. You knew I was leaving." The love of my life Sundae said. Sundae and I been best friends since middle school and I probably been in love with her since. Sundae was a beautiful girl and even more beautiful woman. She wasn't like most girls she had dreams and goals she wanted to accomplish. The other night we were drinking and ended up in my bed together. I ended up taking her virginity and she didn't tell me till we were done. I think what bothered me the most was how nonchalant she was afterwards. She shrugged it off as just sex. I wasn't feeling that and now here she was moving away for school. The whole reason I ran so hard in the streets was so I could eventually approach her. I wanted to give her a better life then her father.
"Why are you acting like that night never happened I know you felt that shit." I said.
"I'm gonna be all the way in another state can you tell me that you won't cheat on me? Can you tell me that you are willing to settle down for me?" She asked and I lowered my head because she knew I couldn't.
"I don't want you to go." I said.
"I can't stay. Your flunky stopped by congratulations on the baby." She said.
"Mookie please just give me a chance." I damn near begged her.
"I can't." She said
"If you leave you might as well say fuck this friendship. I won't talk to you ever again." I said.
"Wow. You are something else don't talk to me twin I do not give a fuck. I'm leaving. Take care of yourself." She said and kissed my cheek. When she left I felt like she took part of me with her.
