It was a nice sunny day in “Safer Cybertron”, kids were cheering, and it was going to be our main character’s first day at kindergarten. It was Phitinh’s first day at kindergarten. She was excited.

Ever since her “mother” left her, Arcee took care of her. And today Phitinh’s very excited since Arcee told her to prepare for kindergarten.
“Phitinh! Are you ready? We’re going out to school, remember?” Arcee shouted from the doors of her apartment waiting for Phitinh.
“I’m coming!” Phitinh came in a hurry to the door from her room. “Let’s go!”

She arrived; they arrived. “Wow.” Phitinh said as she looked around. It wasn’t really big, since it’s just a kindegarten, but it’s full of colors and decorations which attracted her.
“I’m going to be teaching in another class ok, Phitinh? Your class is here. You can make friends!” Arcee told Phitinh before going to another classroom next to Phitinh’s class.
“Ok!” she said.
Arcee smiled and left.

“Wow.” Phitinh said as she touched the colored walls of the classroom.
“Hi!” someone said to her. Phitinh turned her head away from the wall to see a blue colored girl looking at her.
“Hi.” she replied, smiling.
“You seem nice, can we be friends!?” the girl asked.
“Sure!” Phitinh answered. “My name is Phitnh.”
“My name is Whirl. Your name is really unique, Phitinh! I never heard a name like that!”
“Heheh. Thanks! Do you live somewhere around here?”
“Yeah! At an apartment next to the Big Park. It’s colored pink.”
“Really? I think I live there, too!”
So, the two had a fun conversation with each other before class starts. They even chose a seat next to each other, on the mat.

“Bye, Whirl!” Phitinh said to her new friend as she saw her leaving with her dad.
“Bye!”
Phitinh smiled and went back inside the kindergarten. “Arcee, when are we going back home?” she asked Arcee who is busy on the computer in the class next to hers. There are still some kids there waiting to be picked up by their parents.
“Wait a little while, honey. I just need to wait for these kids to leave, so they won’t be alone here. After that we will go back home. Ok?”
Phitinh thought for a while. “Ok. What can I do while I wait?”
“You can in the playground or play with the toys in your class or this class instead.”
Phitinh then waited for Arcee to finish her work, it wasn’t really long. But sometimes 30 minutes is so long for kids her age.

They arrived home. And now it was the afternoon.
“Arcee.” Phitinh looked at Arcee who is preparing dinner.
“What?” Arcee said looking at her, smiling.
“Can I go play with Whirl? She’s at the door.” she said with big wide puppy eyes, pleading. “Please!”
Arcee laughed softly. “Why not. Be back before nighttime. Also is Whirl’s dad with her?”
“Yes.”
“Ok then.”
“Thank you!” she said hugging Arcee and ran to the door. “Let’s go!”
Whirl nodded excitedly.

This is how their life goes. At kindergarten, play together. Afternoon, play together. At night, making letters to send to one another. Just like happy kids' life.

One day, while making some jewelry using beads, at one of the park's benches,
"Phi, did you hear about the news?" Whirl said still making the jewelry.
"Which? You know there's hundreds of them." Phitinh replied looking at her.
"Well, the latest one," Whirl said looking back. "The one which Optimus said that he will be sending four young kids, like our age, to planet Earth for launching a rescue team of young kids, on Earth."
"Earth? That's a unique name."
"I know. Also, after a few while later, he'll send one more kid to complete the team members."
The two went quite for a while, probably thinking of something serious.
"What if- one of us will be "the kids". We'll never see each other again!" Phitinh said looking worried.
"I was thinking the same, too." Whirl replied. "Let's just hope it's not one of us."
"What if it's both of us?"
"Well, that's better than one of us at least."
They stay quite while finishing their custom jewelry.
"Done! I want to see yours, Whirl!"
"It's all most finished- done! Here."

And came the day, the big bad day, where Optimus Prime will be saying out the list of kids to be on Earth.
Whirl came to Phitinh's house to watch the news together. Arcee made some Energon snacks for them, "Here you go." She said smiling.
"Come sit with us, Arcee." Phitinh said.
"Sure, why not." she said sitting down with the two kids.
"The news is starting!" Whirl pointed out.
"The whole city is probably doing the same what we're doing, right Whirl?"
"Yeah, the whole planet." Whirl nodded. "I'm scared."
"Me, too" Phitinh thought to herself, gulping. Realizing this news is more important than the other boring news.
"The list of cadets on this very mission," Optimus was reading the title of the list. The whole city felt quite now.
"One, Hoist."
"Two, Medix."
"Three, Wedge."
Arcee, Phitinh and Whirl were quite now. Waiting to hear the last kid on the mission.
"Four-"
Phitinh gulped.
"Whirl."
Whirl was shocked. She was speechless, she didn't know how to feel. Phtinh was feeling the same. Shocked, speechless, feelingless.
"I hope that will be helpful for-" Arcee shut the TV down. She looked at the kids, feeling helpless.

It was the last day Phitinh was probably seeing Whirl again. Whirl's family were there, too. They were going to a spacebridge, not a groundbridge, it's because Whirl's going to another planet, not another place in Cybertron. They were at the closest spacebridge to be found. Whirl was there standing next to the spacebridge, thinking when to step in.
"Whirl-" Phitinh said, quietly to call her. Whirl turn her head at her.
"I'll- miss you."
"Me, too, Phitinh." she smiled, but her sadness was still in sight.
"Goodbye, all of you. Goodbye- Cybertron." she took her last breath of Cybertron and left.
Phitinh, standing, couldn't believe what's happening. The event which she was worrying about came to life.
