(Maybe we add a high five feature?)

It's been a few days since Archie said yes (in the weirdest way conceived to humankind) but I haven't spoken to him much since then.
This is just my sketch for a robotic arm. I've never been known to be a robotics wizard (more of a biochem fan) but Archie's good at it. Yet to show it to him though.
Carly seems a bit snappy every time he appears in conversation, and she always looks kind of judgy every time we talk. It's not just now, but for the past month or so.
But it hasn't seemed strange until now. Then there is also the fact that Carly is his sister, and there is naturally some amount of rivalry between them.
She wants out of this science thing, and when I say out I mean OUT. She wants to go into commerce, like my sister did.
Which is why, when I showed him the above ideas today, his sister suddenly delt the urge to use the bathroom.

A few weeks later, but I'm clubbing it under one entry...
We’ve been spending a lot of time preparing for the competition. Even though Archie and I haven’t talked about anything other than the project, it's all coming along well. He really knows his stuff when it comes to robotics. I’m grateful for his skills, and I think our project has potential.
Carly’s attitude is still bugging me. It’s like she’s trying to sabotage our chances. I know she doesn’t like science, but her negativity is starting to get on my nerves. I wish she’d just support Archie and me, even if it’s not her thing.
But otherwise, she's chill. While I'm talking with her normally, she seems quite relaxed, positive and carefree as usual.
Archie’s been working hard though. Every time I see him, he seems deep in thought, like he’s trying to solve a puzzle.
It is a real puzzle as to which part goes where, so I don't blame him. Before I got to know him, I only thought of him as my friend's geek twin brother but he's fun actually.
Tomorrow is the presentation of the model, across town. Knowing my overprotective mom, she said a month ago itself that Zinnia has to come with me. 'To babysit me,' in her words.
Personally, I'm fine with it. She's nice enough as young adults go. As elder sisters go, still decent.
I'm hoping it ends well. It's really good, but then there's Aurelia. I don't want to have to meet her. She personally judges the projects, ours included. Maybe I should just slip off to the bathroom at just the right moment?
Oh hell, I need a good night's sleep. My handwriting is turning to chicken scratch.
