The voices are so loud, and malicious,

I thought this pain would be delicious.

I can lie and say that I mean what I said,

But the blood is flowing in my stead.

I’ll carve this smile into my face over and over,

Because I always played the role of pushover.

I smiled, and offered a hand to those around me,

But they turned their backs to laugh at what they see.

I tried to embrace everything I could not control,

All because I knew nothing so,

They said it’s better than to have lost,

But this weak heart of mine, was the cost.

Left alone, abandoned, lied to, and taken for granted,
