“Please sit Isa. I came here to discuss some matters with Stuart and I wish you also be with us and listen to that. So far I came to know that you are not just a personal secretary to Stuart and playing a crucial role in this organisation.” Coming and slumping into the other chair opposite to Stuart and on the left side to Isabella, David Carter said.
“Alright, sir.” Isabella filled her chair again with a smile on her lips.
“Anything important and crucial, uncle.” Stuart knitted his brows and looked into the face of David Carter.
“On the fifth consecutive day our Gaama shares tumbled down. In these five days they lost more than twenty percent. Did you notice that?” looking straight into the face of Stuart, David Carter asked him.
“Yes, I noticed that.” Stuart nodded his head. “But our business is going very well and we have been in profits. So I did not worry about that at all.”
“But you pledged twenty percent share of you in Gaama with bank and took loan.”
“Yes, I did.” Stuart nodded his head. “I took that loan to expand the business and it worked very well also. We captured new markets and that caused our profits to become double. When the same has been informed to the public through stock exchanges, there was lot of positive response and our share price has gone up by five percent. If the market conditions have been favourable, our Gaama price would have been increased a lot.”
“At present market conditions are favourable but our Gaama shares have come down by twenty percent.”
“Why do we need to worry about it now?” Stuart knitted his brows together.
“Have not you noticed it yet? Your pledged shares value with the bank is lowered by twenty percent and soon they ask you to make the gap to be filled up by pledging even more shares with them.”
“Yes, sir. There is such a danger I must say.” With a fearful expression in her face Isabella said looking into the face of Stuart.
“Okay then. If bank insists us we pledge even more shares with them. I have sixty percent share in Gaama.”
“Oh, Stuart, when do you grow up? It is not the way to do business.” With an angry expression in his face, David Carter said. “Did you try to know why our Gaama shares are going down like that?”
“I really did not think much about that uncle.” An uneasy expression filled the face of Stuart.
“But I did. I came to know it is the work of our competitors. They are making some institutional investors to sell the shares in bulk. Their main purpose is to create negative sentiment in public about our company. Once our company shares reached their bottom, they want to buy all those shares and get a hold on Gaama.”
“My god! What should we do now?” Suddenly Stuart realised that point and it increased the uneasiness in his face even more.
“You do that before those people do it. Use all reserves and buy our shares back. You can increase your share upto seventy five percent.”
“Alright I do that.” Stuart nodded his head and said. “We have more than enough reserve at present. We have ample cash flow and we have been in good profits for a long time.”
“So far by my observation I found it like that.” With a smile on his lips David Carter said. “Immediately start buying your shares at this price and then let the public know that there is no wrong with our company and it is hundred percent robust. By doing so I hope our company shares reach such level we do never expect.”
“Okay uncle, it shall be just so.” Suddenly feeling easily Stuart said, smiled and leaned back in the chair. “And you are going to lead me in this.’
“I am here to lead you in every walk of you.” David Carter laughed and he also leaned back in the chair. “I do feel very happy to do so.”

“I completed my BBM and I have a sort of interest on the companies and the businesses they do. Gaama is one of the companies I research and track everyday in the stock market.” On that day Jasmine came into the office of Stuart along with Isabella and when they both settled in the opposite chairs to him, she said after formal greetings.
“Our Gaama must be very much fortunate to be liked by a beautiful girl like you!” Stuart adjusted for more comfort in his chair.
“To be frank Mr.Stuart……..” her charming smile just made her even more gorgeous. “………….I heard this comment from many people that I am beautiful. But it did never make me feel happy.”
“May I know the reason why?” Stuart stooped forward with a curious expression in his face and balanced his both arms on the table in between them.
“Jasmine concentration is mostly on the financial side and she gives very little attention to beauty like things.” Isabella said.
“If it is so…….” Once again Stuart leaned back in the chair. “…………why did not she study her masters with business administration? She left the college quite against the will and wish of her uncle.”
“I thought just going on reading like that is useless. After one stage what we need to do is; make research and know things in the practical way. I am thinking I have completed the stage of knowing by having BBM and what I want to do now is practical learning.” Jasmine also leaned back in the chair and her charming smile was just so on her lips.
“If that is what your real aim is………..” Isabella said. “…………….our sir is the best person to make you have it. Cannot you give her the benefit of learning things practically here sir?”
“She can visit any place in Gaama she wants and take the help of any person to know things. I have no objection to that.”
“That is not enough, I must say.” Isabella voice suddenly became firm. “You should be with her and guide her and make her learn. A person like you who has vast knowledge, experience and skill in these matters must be with her.”
“Yes, Isa is absolutely right in her opinion.” Jasmine said. “Cannot you do it like that sir?”
Stuart’s heart leaped with happiness and he felt deep gratitude towards Isabella. He has to put an effort not to show his happiness in his face. “I think I can.” He smiled. “But before I extend my help to you, I want to know how much of research you did on Gaama and how much you do know about it.”
“Gaama is the biggest manufacturer of tyres and auto accessories in our country. Its market cap is quite larger comparing with most of the companies doing similar business and recently it expanded its presence in many places and every where it has success except at two places which have been causing losses and recently those were closed. Twenty percent of promoters’ shares are under pledge and recently its shares were tumbled down by twenty percent but in the last two days it gained more than ten percent. The promoters started buying back its shares and now the public interest also is increased a lot on this company. And……..”
“Enough….enough……you have made enough research on our company and I have no objection whatsoever to lead you to have practical knowledge or whatever it may be regarding business organisations.” Stuart said adjusting himself for more comfort in the chair.
“I consider myself very much lucky to learn things from you.” Her laughter was always mellifluous. “When and how we are going to start it then?”
“We plan it and do it in a systematic way.” Stuart said and then looked into the face of Isabella with a smile. “We do need your help in this.”
“I just feel happy to extend any type of cooperation in this regard.” Isabella declared and there was a smile on her lips also.

“It is indeed a pleasant surprise that you came to our house.” The smile on Jasmine’s face was as usual beautiful. “But uncle is not at home.”
“I don’t know. Where he has gone?” Stuart knew that David Carter was not at home. He told Stuart the day before itself that he wanted to go out of station for one day and requested Isabella to look after Jasmine carefully until he returns.
“He did not tell me the particulars and I did not press for the same.” With the same smile Jasmine said giving room to him to come inside. “Anyhow there is no problem as he promised to me that he returns to home by the evening.” She dragged a chair opposite to him and slumped herself in it after he put himself in a chair there in the hall.
“Are you feeling lonely without him in this house?” he leaned back in the chair and asked her.
“When he stays in the home to that matter you tell me?” she laughed. “Even on Sundays and holidays also he will be with you discussing about something or the other.”
“I am sorry. I should not have made him work like that.” The regretful expression in the face of Stuart was genuine at that time.
“No, Mr.Stuart. He is workaholic. He cannot remain without working like that. All the time at home also he reads or writes something. In fact it does not make much difference whether he stays at home or at office.”
“Neglecting you absolutely, is it is not?”Stuart pretended angry in his face. “How he forgets a living human creature is in the home and it needs human company? If he loves and likes you, he cannot do it like that.”
“Just because of that I cannot say he has no love on me.” Once again her mellifluous laughter flowed. “Even my parents are alive on this day, they too cannot love me as much as he is doing. I am his only life Mr.Stuart, whether you believe it or not. He is living only for me.”
A small smile widened the lips of Stuart and he leaned back in the chair.
“But I must say I do feel lonely. I want company, I want people with me.”
“If you were in the college, you would not have faced this problem Jasmine. Why did you stop your studies and came here like this? There will be lot of company in the college and hostel also.” Stuart knitted his brows together.
“I cannot say, I just cannot say.” There was sudden uneasiness in the face of Jasmine. “I don’t want company like that.”
“You don’t like youth who are aged similar to you. Then do you want to be with those who are quite young to you or want to be with those who are quite older to you?”
“I cannot say.” Her charming smile filled her lips again and was making him mesmerised. “Anyhow why you are asking questions like these?”
“Just interest, nothing else.” Stuart laughed. “You are the niece of a man who loves me and likes me a lot. So I want to know about you.”
“You are right, Mr.Stuart. Uncle loves and likes you a lot.” Continuing the same charming smile on her lips, Jasmine said.
“Then tell me, what type of company you like?” Stuart stooped forward in the chair with knitted brows and looked straight into her face.
“I really have no idea what type of company I like.” Sighing heavily Jasmine said. “But I like company. I like people with me.”
“But I have got an idea so far.” Leaning back in the chair and adjusting himself in it for more comfort, Stuart said.
Jasmine raised her brows with a curious expression in her face.
