Ruggard was awakened by the sound of a trumpet in the distance, and he heard loud stumbling afterward. He went outside and breathed in the cool, pine air. Pine air? this only can mean one thing. Borth the Bear has been summoned by Voart. He ran to Voart's hut, and saw Voart scratching Borth's neck and petting him. Ruggard asked "Why did you summon Borth?" and Voart stopped petting and said "I am going on a journey for the best possible chicken. You may come if you desire. I will give you the chicken once I arrive if you do not come.". Ruggard decided to come with Voart and Borth and go on this great journey. As they were riding Ruggard said "I still don't know what chicken is?" Voart laughed and mumbled "You'll know soon enough." and Ruggard replied "What?" Voart laughed even more as they continued riding. Voart grabbed his cookbook and opened it to the Best Chicken Ever page, and read what was needed to be done. The book said that the first step is to go to the nest of Levena and find a chicken. Levena is a giant evil Cockatrice. She looks like a feathery dragon with a chicken head, and has long stinger tail. She is the mother of the legendary hero Carnitrice, but we aren't here to talk about that. Eventually, night was beginning to set in. They desired to get out of the forest before night, because unless you have decent shelter, you are prey to the Nightstalker. No one has lived long enough to see a good image of the Nightstalker, and there is no account of it. Borth suddenly paused. Red, bloodshot eyes appeared from the forest. Slowly, a 8 meter tall human like figure walked out of the forest. Its eyes were now bleeding a red, glowing liquid. It had 2 long arms that reached to its feet, and long fingers, made for grabbing it's victims. Its head was sort of shaped like a lemon, and it had no mouth. It had long, white hair on its head, and grey, cracked skin. for a while, they stood there, staring at the thing that just appeared. this went on for what felt like hours. Suddenly, its head spun around to its back, and it had a smiling face on the end. gone were its bleeding eyes, replaced by 2 black, soulless dots that seemed to go on forever. It now had sharp teeth, in his smile, and gore fell from his mouth. it grabbed Raggard and licked him with a black tongue that left a black dusty substance on him. An arrow, than flew through the air, and hit the back of the creature. The creature's smile grew wider as he threw Ruggard to the ground and disappeared into the night. 2 other figures appeared from the forest, and they were both holding bows. One of them seemed to be a human like salamander, and the other one was a human like dragon. The salamander said "I am Valentia, and this is my wife, Malia. We heard about your journey to create the best chicken in the world, and we decided to join you. Also, were any of you harmed by the Nightstalker that just attacked?". None of them replied. "Good.". They all got back on Borth's back, and they continued on, not wanting to encounter the Nightstalker again. eventually, they made it out of the forest, and as they rode off, Ruggard looked back and saw the Nightstalker, staring from the forest they exited, and it lifted up its arm and put its pointer finger up to its mouth as a shh echoed in his mind. 38Please respect copyright.ＰＥＮＡＮＡB8o98r9Gn5
