Their rapidly fading hearts had deviated from each other, and now she was falling behind. They had made each other a promise, fall together.
This did not change her belief system however, she would continue to fight and imagine the considerably impossible last breaths she would take to the day her soul faded from this earth.
It was just the two of them in this great big world. And no way to meet the other side without jumping together.
A feeling quite unlike any other fell over her blurred lines, and she was prepared to leave her wonders behind along with any residual fear.
