~1 year old~
It wasn't until my 1st birthday when Lily noticed that my parents didn't even care about me at all.
Lily was the only person who acknowledged that today was my birthday. Even though my birthday was on Christmas, nobody else expect Lily, and Eve who was one of the maids that took the time and noticed that today was my birthday.
I was only one of course, but my parents weren't there, No. They were doing something more important, so important that they missed my 1st birthday.

~4years old~
This went on for 3 years. Each year my birthday passed, nobody except Lily and Eve celebrated. My mother and father never showed up.
As for Issac Dean Alaric, his birthday was worshiped all around the kingdom. He got thousands of presents and gifts and pulled tons of attention.
He was a spoiled kid, even at the age of 4.
Now when I turned 4 was the day Lily showed me my birthmark. It was a couple spaces above my left breast. My birthmark was the shape of a snowflake. It didn't look exactly like a snowflake but it was very very close.
"Does mommy have one?" I asked Lily. She pressed her lips at the word "mommy", but she did nod and told me she had one as well.
"Yes, your...mother has one, I do too, and the children that you have will also have it." she said to me. I look at her in disbelief. "I don't think I'll ever have children." I say looking at my stomach.
I then walk away. "Grandma, I'm cold."

My wolf was maturing on my 4th birthday. After I told Lily that I was cold, she wrapped me up in a blanket and put me to bed early. That didn't help at all. I piled on blankets and tried to go to sleep. I couldn't, I kept tossing and turning.
A couple hours later, Lily came in and served me noodle soup. I ate it all of it, mainly the soup and tried to go back to sleep. About 20 minutes later, I couldn't take the cold any longer. I sat up and walked around my room.
Lily then walked back in." I thought you were cold, why aren't you in bed?"she asked me. I swallow and lift up my hands. I was beginning to speak when Lily began to stare at my hands. "What is it...?I mumble.
I put my hands to my face and notice that there were splotches of cold purple on my pale skin. "Is this even possible?" I hear Lily say to herself. I was only 4 so I asked, " What does possible mean?"
Lily shakes her head," Never mind that." She hurries to me and picks me up. It took her some time, I weighed a lot heavier and was a lot thicker than your average 4 years old girl. "Where are we going?" I ask Lily.
She continues to carry me down some steps, we go down tons of long hallways. At the end of one hallway, we enter a huge room. The dining room. It was filled with people. At one end there was my parents and at the other end was Issac's parents.
Issac's father, King Alaric was laughing and sipping a bottle filled with beer. Queen Alaric looked somewhat irritated, not just with her husband ,but with her whole life.
The dining room was filled with people, peasants and royals. They were all eating huge feast. I then spotted Issac in the corner. He wasn't even 4 yet, but he looked like he was 6. He was very tall and lean for his age.
As I looked over at him, I noticed he was wearing a sleeveless shirt and shorts. How could he ever wear that? It was freezing outside. As I looked at him, I started getting a little warmer.
Lily noticed me." Who are you looking at ,huh?" she says. I was chewing on my finger. She tickles me for an answer. "Issac." I say pointing at him. Lily looks back at me then at Issac. Back at me, then Issac. Issac then me.
"Incredible!" I hear her say. She sucks in a breath then we walk over to Issac. My parents weren't paying attention at us because they were too busy getting drunk.
"Hi, Issac." Lily says. She puts me down and I stand up slowly on my own. Issac looks at her, as if he wondered why a person like Lily was speaking to someone like him. "This is Crystal Snow." she says gently. This is our first meet.
As soon as I met Issac's gaze, my body slowly started to regain its warmth. I breathed in deeply and closed my eyes. I opened my eyes and realized Issac was doing the same things. He was breathing in slowly and his eyes were closed.
I saw a small smile on his face. While his eyes were closed, I looked around and noticed that everyone in the dining room had gone quiet. They were all staring at us. My mother gave a disgusted face to me and my father stared in disbelief.
Queen Alaric stood up from her seat and looked at me. She smiled. King Alaric wiped a foam of beer from his beard and tilted his head. I looked up at Lily who wore a great big smile.
Finally ,Issac opened his eyes again. He looked at me gently. But then began to look at the rest of him. His smile disappeared and his face grew into a smug. He looks at Lily then me.
And then he said 2 words that caused my heart to split into halves.
"Your fat."
He looked at me with his dark blue eyes and said the 2 words loud and clear. He said them with zero sympathy. The dining room was hushed for a moment and then King Alaric burst out in laughter.
"At least he knows who and who not to date!" King Alaric shouts. The entire room erupted into laughter. The only people that didn't laugh were Lily, Eve, and Queen Alaric.
"All of you shut up, she is going to blossom into a beautiful girl!" Lily shouted . Everyone laughed.
"You know what mother? I am tired of you always fighting so hard for Crystal, she is nothing but a fat baby, and did I mention, useless too. I, Queen Snow ban you and Crystal from the Polar Cross's royal province." my mother shouted at Lily.
I didn't know what that meant but 3 men in armor started to walk toward us. "Sahara, where do you expect them to go?" I hear my father say.
"I don't know and you shouldn't either." my so called mother called.
King and Queen Alaric were speechless. Queen Alaric was still standing out of her seat. She stared at me hopelessly but she then looked at her son with disappointment
"We can walk ourselves out." Lily says putting a hand to the guards. The entire time I looked at Issac and he looked at me.
I didn't know what was going on, but I did know that Issac was my mate...I felt it in me.
But I also do know he rejected me.
