Brianna's P.O.V.
Where am I? How did I get here? Why am I in-
I see a bright light shining on my face but as my eyes adjust to what it looks like to be a recovery room... Oh, my Dad's recovery room! Why am I in here? What happened? Why do I feel weird inside? What did my father do!
Cowen's P.O.V.
"Jeez, I am SO bored! Hey Cowen, Can you play with me at the park, please? I am really bored!" she says.
"No! leave me alone I am working on an assignment right now I will meet you there in 10 minutes okay?" I reply to my 6-year-old whining sister.
"Okay see you down at the park!" says my sister in an excited tone.
I walked down to the park with my soccer ball in hand. I can see my sister playing on the swing. As I near her I see another figure about my age with beautiful blond hair and blue eyes. The next thing I hear is a faint scream from my sister saying my name. All that was left was a once lively swing, slowly rocking backwards and forwards with no one in it. Dropping the soccer ball I stood there in confusion, Where did she go? She was right in from of me?! That was the last time I saw her, on October 6th, 2016, 4:30 pm. I start screaming her name and with no response, I jog up to the swing and back where I was standing trying to figure out what just happened. Tears started to fall down my freckly cheeks, I grab my dropped ball and sprint back to my house. Where did she vanish to?
I bash on the front door screaming for mum to hurry and open it. As my mum opens the old door, I run to her arms weeping on her shoulder. She asks me what happened and I replied, " M-m-m-Mira is g-g-gone sh-she vanished in f-f-f-front of m-my eyes! M-m-mum she v-v-vanished!"
I cry a little louder and mum screams out to dad, "Dewayne! Call 000, Now!" (000 is the Australian version of 911 cause I live in Australia) Dad rushes down the spiral stairs with the phone in hand yelling, "What?! What happened?! Where's Mira?!"
I try to speak but mum's hand hushed me. "She's gone, she vanished in front of Cowen when he got down to the park, apparently she was with a women, he figures she was about his age."
Pushing mum's hand away I sob and cry out again, "It's m-m-m-my fault I-I-I should have gone d-d-down at the s-s-same time as h-her, IT'S ALL M-MY F-F-FAULT!!"
Mum stroked my brown hair, hushing me again, "It wasn't your fault, we will get to the bottom of this, now, don't you worry."
Sirens sounded as the police car roar down the street. A splash of blue and red lights up our house and off down the road in the twilight. They stopped in front of our house, a young policeman and an older female policeman exit the vehicle and walk to our door. Once they entered the house they sat down at the table and pulled out a chair for me to sit in. The older lady pulls out a notepad and a sharpened pencil. She began to ask me loads of questions. Her name badge read Victoria. I quite liked Victoria and the way she spoke calmed me down straight away. I answer all the questions leading up to the events of the so-called "Abduction". After I answered all the given questions she gave me a lollipop to praise me for my answers saying, "It will be alright, we will find your sister, okay?" I nod giving her a slight smile. They thanked us for our time and soon after drove off and out of our street into the now quiet, soft moonlight.
I wonder who that girl was? How did she disappear, and where did she take my sister?
