She had her note written

all up in her head

she knew not what to do with it

but was on her last thread

as bad as she wanted

and as much as she tried

she could not put it on paper

even after she cried.

Pen and paper in hand,

she was all ready to write

but no matter what she did

she couldn't make it sound right

that night she gave up

and cried in her bed

that night her special note

felt forever stuck in her head
