I knew it from the start, I was going to die from happiness the moment I entered this place, this wonderful place called 'Food Paradise'. True to its name, the place was full of food--all cheap yet delicious, perfect for a poor girl like me. My friend recommended me to go to this place because it was paradise to food-obsessed people (like me). The decorations even screamed "FOOD!", literally. Interesting. 

But maybe I should've considered it before stepping my foot inside this place. Maybe I should've thought about the pros and cons--was I willing to gain a few pounds and lose some dollars for food that was probably not worth it all? 

My nose could smell the chocolate from ten kilometers away and now I see the reason. In the middle of the restaurant was a giant fountain--not only that, it was a chocolate fountain. It looked so fresh and delicious. I really wanted to drink from it. Beside the fountain, there was a table with many glasses on it. Other customers were getting the chocolate from the fountain using the glass.

I stepped in, taking some of the chocolate also. Drinking it, I nearly let myself moan from how sweet it tasted on my tongue. It reminded me of my dream a few days ago. I was at some kind of weird place and everything around me was chocolate. The drink, the food. Both hot and cold. It was memorable to say the least and this chocolate made it came true.

Smiling, I stepped into a part of the place that smelled nice. I could tell it was full of baked stuff; bread, cakes and all. My nose didn't let me down. The left side of the room was full of bread. Long-bread, chocolate-flavoured bread and everything else. It was true heaven to me. My mum would kill to have all of these in our house.

Curious, I took a long bread and shoved it in my glass before eating it. I grinned. Exactly as I had hoped for, it tasted sweet like chocolate. I continued eating as I walked around the room full of bread.

The best part was the Big Table. Don't ask me how I knew the name, there was an arrow pointing at the table and on the arrow was written "Big Table", so. On the Big Table stood a castle of tiny cupcakes. A literal castle and it was rainbow-coloured. I wanted to eat all of it.

I took one green cupcake. It was twice the size of my thumb. I easily shoved it in my mouth and my life just clicked. The minty flavour reminded me of fresh air at the park. Interested, I took the blue cupcake. Unlike the green one, it was pretty sweet. It tasted like blueberries--of course.

Walking away, I went to the north side of the room. The familiar smell of pizza could be sniffed by my sensitive nose. I grinned excitedly. Italian? Heck yes! I'm so ready for pizza, lasagna and pasta. Good food.

I half-walked, half-ran to the Italian-food side of the restaurant. My mouth gaped when I saw the variety of pizzas staring at me. I slowly approached them, drooling and I wasn't even embarrassed by it. 

"Mhm-mmm-hmmm," I moaned whole-heartedly when the piece of pizza finally reached my tongue. The wonderful taste of mozzarella, the delicious meat and mushrooms--a perfect combination to make the insides melt.

I think I died.

"ADELYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYN!!!" a familiar voice shouted at me, waking me up from my daydream.

I blinked a few times before looking at my friend, Michelle. "What?"

"Stop staring and take some food," she said, glaring at me. 

I looked around before remembering where we were. It was the first day of school and we finally had a cafeteria that was completely full of food. I was about to grab everything when--

"And remember, it's not for free," Michelle reminded.

I put on a -_- face.
