I stood on the bank with my other crew members, my map in hand. After three months and five failed attempts to build a working ship, as well as another two months to find a treasure map, we were ready to start our first adventures as pirates, just like my favorite anime.

Jackson is our first mate, his nickname is Sparrow, because he sorta reminded me of Captain Jack Sparrow from Pirates of the Caribbean.

“So, yeah, lets board the..Sea Dragon I guess, seeing as that was our only suggestion.” I turned around to walk up the gangplank and tripped, falling on my face while my crew mates laughed. I stood up and brushed myself off, collecting what was left on my dignity and boarded the ship. I would show them. I would be the best pirate on this ship, if they gave me the chance, and a weapon, but I wasn’t allowed one of those either, yet. However, I could do my job and make sure we find the treasure, whatever it was. We had no competition, after all pirates didn’t exist anywhere but tv shows, movies and games anymore, so we were perfectly safe.Right?

Well, honestly we didn’t even know where we were going, other than the fact we were following a map that we found in a bottle in this old shop that sells antique pirate-y stuff. It was also where we bought our outfits, after all if we were going to be pirates, then we had to look like pirates. I still I have to wear my glasses though, which makes me look less that pirate-y but I’m still a real pirate, and with the crew we were going on our first ever adventure.
