It sounds strange but it's true. The best advice I ever got in my life was by an author who is over decades dead and yet managed to change my life. Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, the famous Scottish author of Sherlock Holmes. I read all the Sherlock Holmes stories in original language (I live in Switzerland).669Please respect copyright.PENANAxIttlDYnTM
In one case "The Speckled Band" comes forth a scene where Holmes faces the ill tempered Dr. Roylott who spats out rude and hurting words to Holmes. Holmes' reaction was laughing and taking none of the words seriously from Dr. Roylott.
That reaction had caught me in great surprise and realised that is the brilliant solution to my daily confrontation in school (mobbing verbally) and thus used it. They soon gave up and left me alone as I desired at the least from them, knowing I was different than they were (physically and mentally). Few of my friends were astonished to my reaction and admired my thick skin and strength facing those harsh words (to be honest they could have been worse).
