Saturday Mornings was me taking care of the horses in the stables, my mother owned a boarding school for many high class race horses. Even my own horse Addilyn was staying in these stables. She was a brown and white appaloosa with a strange diamond like shape on her muzzle. Her mane was was black with some white strands of hair mixed in, she also had white socks that I had to keep clean all the time.
Walking into the stables with a bucket of hay and grain in my hands I watched as horses turned heads towards me. They were neighing continuously at me, which meant they weren't fed. I got to Addilyn's stable and put her food in her container, she chirped at me before eating. My mom hired our own stable boy who was supposed to feed the horses every morning, but then again I do that mostly.
" Hey Travis are you in here" I yelled
Complete silence, he wasn't here yet. He probably forgot to set his alarm clock again, like always. I rolled my eyes and prepared myself to feed all 10 horses this morning. Which would be a pain in the ass, all the racers like their horses to be fed something specific if I get it wrong then they have a fit about it. Travis got it right all the time, I made sure he did since I made a feeding schedule for him. I looked at the board and took a picture of the schedule, getting the food I made sue each horse got the right amount.
After finishing I saw Travis run up to the stables, well more like raced since he always rides his bike here. I groaned and basically flipped him off before putting a wet towel on my forehead.
" someones angry with me again" he chuckled
" don't give me that sorry i was late look, I fed them all again. Happy?" I growled at him
" I ride my bike a couple decent miles to get here, hold your horses" he shook his head as he started to do the rest of his job.
He had to groom the horses before their riders got here, after almost exploding I walked over to Addilyn. She chirped at me, trying to calm down. Which wasn't really helping me at all at the moment. I patted her muzzle for a while before feeling dizzy, I soon blacked out and fell to the floor. I heard Travis run up to me, the next thing I new I was watching Travis carry my body back to my house.
I honestly thought I died from touching my horse, then I looked down at myself. I was Addilyn, I questioned this before realizing maybe Addilyn was in my body. I placed my head on the door to my stable, from time to time I heard voices their bodies were never seen. From time to time riders would come in and get their horses, Travis came in and got me for some reason. I tried to speak but only neighs came out of my mouth as well as snorting and chirping. I saw him smirk and brought me to the arena inside, my body was in my riding outfit. Was Addilyn going to ride me?
" here she is m'lady" Travis chuckled
" thanks Travis" she spoke, her voice was soft and smooth off her tongue
I growled at this, when did my voice get very feminine in only a couple of hours. And shouldn't I be lying down or something? Once Travis left Addilyn looked at me and snorted, it was almost like she was mocking me. She played with my mane before getting onto my back, I heard her humming my favorite song.
She took me around the arena before walking me back to my stable, I needed to find a way to get back into my own body so I can yell at her for a very long time. Which probably wouldn't do much since she wouldn't understand me, or would she? She brushed the dirt off of my coat and did the same to my mane and tail, after doing so she put me back into my stable giving me some hay to chew on.
She finally left, most of the horses were brought back to their stables as well. They would talk among themselves, and discuss about their riders. Then I heard Addilyn's name, I poked my head out of the stable and saw the horse to my left looking at me.
" oh come on Addilyn, i asked you a question stop spacing out like that" a stallion spoke
" my bad, I was just thinking of Katie" I tried to shrug but that failed.
I heard the stallion next to me snorted, all of the horses were confused and kind of laughing at what I said. I turned to the stallion and he explained why they were laughing. Then I proceeded to tell him that I wasn't the Addilyn they new, that I was Katie. Surprisingly he believed me. The rest of the night we thought of ways how to get my bodies attention, every plan we made was obviously going to fail.
I didn't know how this so called spell or curse worked so I just fell asleep so the next morning I could do something about this.
I woke up in the middle of the night, I looked around and saw Travis and my body in the hay stack. I nipped at Gladiators ears, which woke him up. I neighed softly gesturing to them, his eyes widened then looked back at me. I was going to kill Addilyn once I get my own body back, I stayed up the whole night hoping they wouldn't actually have sex in the stables. Luckily they didn't, they just made out and he maybe just used his hands on my body. Since she did moan from time to time, and that made me angry. Once they stopped and they fell asleep, I was able to go to bed around 1 in the morning.
Sunday morning Travis came around and took me out of my stable, I growled under my breath and wanted to pin him to the floor. But being a good horse I only cursed him under my breath, In that moment I was so glad he couldn't understand what I was saying. I stopped in my tracks before neighing back at Gladiator, he rolled his eyes.
" are you coming or not" I chirped
" ugh fine, your such an idiot" he growled and used his teeth to unlock his stable door.
Travis quickly walked towards Gladiator and tried getting him back into his stable, what actually happened Gladiator trapped Travis in his stable. He snorted at him and pranced over to me, I neighed at Travis and laughed.
" now lets get this plan on the road" I chirped and ran towards entrance of the property.
We both ran to the gate, some of the horses were wanting us to flee this place. I looked behind me to see Addilyn running towards me.
" you stupid horse, get back here" she yelled at me
" oh no you didn't" Gladiator snorted
" oh yes she did" I raised an eyebrow and walked towards her
She tripped and fell on her back, I looked down at her and growled at her. I guess she new what I wanted since she grabbed onto my muzzle, I picked her up and smirked at her.
I watched as she blacked out and fell to the floor, I as well blacked out. Opening my eyes I was in my own body once again, I jumped in the air and stuck my tongue out at Addilyn. Gladiator neighed, and I actually new what he was saying. I grabbed a rope and tied it around my horses neck, Gladiator made sure she didn't run off. I sighed with relief and patted the stallions head before putting him into his stable and letting Travis back out of it. " oh don't hurt the poor boy, he was just helping a friend out" I muttered
" babe honestly though I hate him" he growled
" excuse me, did you just call me babe? I didn't give you my consent at all, so don't ever call me that ever again" I flipped my strawberry blonde hair in his face and walked away from him.
I heard him yell and curse himself, I also heard Addilyn cursing me out and wanting to ruin my life. But that won't happen ever again.
