In a hurry to pack, I grabbed my notes with one hand and used the other to unzip my bag. The moment I dropped my papers in, I hissed -- a paper cut two inches long bled from the webbing between my right thumb and forefinger. My entire hand burned from the small wound and I swore a blue streak as I swung my bag onto my shoulder. From my front pocket, I fished out my keys and locked the door using my steaming right hand.
By the time I shut the door, my paper cut had closed, and I ran for the bus.
