Snow allowed the bite of poisoned apple to roll to the back of her throat and waited for it to take it's effect. Her dearest stepmother had been very obliging in making her little prop. In fact, she'd even gone as far as to chase her away from the castle. The queen was an excellent actor.799Please respect copyright.PENANAMuonLpRCmd
The poison coursed through her system at what would be an alarming rate if Snow hadn't been expecting it and she soon felt faint. She smiled as her vision began to blacken and eventually she hit the ground with a thud. 799Please respect copyright.PENANAwDwkZvBkT2
Snow didn't hear the loud, collective gasp from the dwarves when they found her supposedly dead body on the kitchen floor; neither did she feel the heat of the hearth as they carried her past it and out into the garden. She didn't sense the coolness of the glass coffin or the thud as she was set on the earth floor. She would however imagine these things later.799Please respect copyright.PENANAKbzLwbvj5u
The movement of being lifted out of the case and swept into a man's arms jolted the apple from Snow's throat. She blinked once and then twice before opening her eyes fully. She was in the arms of Prince Charming. The incredibly wealthy and, dare she say, handsome prince from the next Kingdom over.
Without a word, he lifted her into his powerful grey stallion. Once he too was mounted, he nudged the stallion into a canter allowing Snow to only wave to her friends as she disappeared into the distance.
The palace they arrived at was of equal size to the one she grew up in, perhaps grander even. The prince was greeted by many servants as they walked through the hallways hand in hand towards his bedroom.
He locked the door when they were both through and as he turned his back to her Snow drew the silver knife from the leather pouch around her waist.
She smiled deviously as he turned around, eyes widening at the sight. Snow pressed him hard against the wall, resting the knife against his chest.
The small incision she made caused him to cry out in pain, but she only laughed.
"Darling, whatever is the matter?" she asked, pausing her cutting to feign a look of concern.
"Wh-wh-why a-are you d-doing th-this?" he managed to choke out.
"You killed my sister and you will pay," Snow replied, a dark and truly terrifying look crossing her features.
She dug the knife in deeper, relishing in the howls of anguish that left his mouth. Pulling the knife out with one sharp movement, she discarded it. Snow ignored his pleas and tearful eyes and began pushing the wound apart, before gently slotting her hand inside.
Her hand closed around his heart, which was beating madly, and she pulled hard tearing it from his chest. His eyes widened and he let out a chocking sound before dropping to the floor right in front of her feet.
A smile played on her lips as she cast the organ beside its owner's body. Her sister could finally rest in peace, knowing she had been avenged.
With blood dripping from her delicate hands, Snow slipped out of the window and into the night.
