Marenzo nodded once she had finished and softly rested his head atop hers before placing a gentle kiss. “It’ll be fine, trust me. She gave him a soft smile before moving in and kissed his cheek as her own cheeks were flushing red. She softly backed up to show him her flushed face and nervous yet adorable smile. “Thank you, that makes me feel better.” Gently he touched the side of her face to softly caress her cheek before moving in to try returning the kiss. She felt her heart jump and she moved, causing him to miss and his hand to slip off her face. She felt a chill shoot down her spine as his lips brushed against her other cheek due to her evasion maneuver. “Oh would you look at the time? It didn’t take long before her brown head had vanished from sight. Marenzo released a breath while rubbing the back of his head and gave the railing pole a soft kick. “Damn it, smooth, really smooth there Marenzo,” he commented to himself quietly. “You gotta step up your game. A couple to three days had passed by until on this morning, as Alura had woken early to look outside, a sight that caught her eye made her gasp. “Marenzo!” she exclaimed loudly, “come quick!” this haste and urgency in her tone caused him jump out of bed and rush over to the window she had her head sticking out of. He pulled her inside as she spoke again, her eyes sparkling with the same excitement a child has on Christmas morning. “Look out there!” she ordered with pointed where she wanted him to look just in case he didn’t already know. As the ship neared closer, the clouds parted slowly to allow them to see the floating island more clearly with its tall buildings and roofs of varying angles as well as shapes. “I see, so we’re this close to Meldano.” He commented oddly calm although he was also excited inside as he watched the nearing land. He brought his head back inside and went to her bag while eyeing her weapons thoughtfully. She watched curiously as he was messing with one of his rings that had small traces of blue fragments on its silver surface. Finally he lifted his hand while motioning for the weapons to lift and come to him upon which they did. “Yes it is so stay with me, okay? That way we will both know the other is safe.” She nodded absentmindedly as she drank in the aesthetics of the buildings styles which were in line with medieval to dark era architecture. He sighed shaking his head and took her hand into and lead the way into the city which was comparable to Indianapolis. She followed behind as she just let him lead so she could marvel at the tall structures of both home and business. The sidewalks were a smooth stone and concrete as the roadways were made of a cobblestone and granite mix.
Alura mouthed a silent ‘wow’ as she saw some of the buildings had carved into them artwork and words on their wood surfaces. When he does act though, look out!” he warned with a soft emphasis at the end as he leaned towards her which caused her to jump a little before gently pushing him. “But if he doesn’t need to do anything or see anything as needing to be done, then he won’t lift a finger.” His voice was hushed as he explained with Alura nodding as she had begun to take in the Victorian Era inspired clothing, as well as the cars that had a classic yet modern feel with something extra with some of their designs. “Well if you wanted me to use a cloaking spell again you should have said something before we disembarked.” He responded with a light sigh as they passed by a store where a few young females who were giggling over their gossip. Two looked to be in their late teens as the other in her early twenties. One in a yellow dress eyed Marenzo over like a carnivore having found its next meal. Marenzo released a soft groan as his steps picked up a bit of speed. “Nothing important, only that they are girls with an active side for the opposite sex.” He commented with a grumble, having not enjoyed the type of rated thoughts in their leaders mind involving him. She glanced back to see the trio following and, after looking to him to speak, she held her tongue as she picked up by the tight squeeze of her hand that he knew.
