Here I am, heading to Seoul, all by my own.

The sun has set, leaving the piece of black cloth covering the sky, dotted with bunch of bright stars. I looked out from the window, the lights of the buildings came into my view. My heart ached a bit, because I'd started to miss my mum, and I still thought that I was making a bad decision which I couldn't rewind the past, it's too late to regret now.

I boarded on the plane, put my backpack into the drawers on top of the seats, and fasten my seatbelt. I plug on my earphones and shuffled the list of music, and it turned to be my favourite song 'Baby Steps' by TaeTiSeo, which has a sad melody, exactly describing my mood at that very moment.

Soon I felt a tap on my shoulder, it turned out to be a teenage girl at around my age, asking me politely,'Is there anyone stitting beside you?' I shook my head and she jumped onto the seat with excitement.

"Oh! I bet you also go to Seoul alone, because me too!" "Hi, my name is Lee Haseo. I am pure Korean but living in China with my grandparents who immigrated here almost half a century before." The girl offered her hand to me, with a probably brighter-than-my-future smile. Actually, I didn't want to talk to strangers as I must admit that I was extremely anti-social. I knew that those so-called 'friendly' people are usually fake inside, so I didn't feel like I need to make friends, I just enjoyed living in my own space.

After the plane had landed off, I turned on the television and watched 'High School Musical'. By the time I was going to fall asleep as I didn't have a good sleep (despite of the 'Cold War' with my parents some days before), Haseo tapped my shoulder (AGAIN) and whispered to me, "By the way, I didn't get the chance to know more about you, like what is your name...?"

I thought that she won't stop bothering me until I told her my name," Yehan, or Siara as you like." Perhaps, I should make new friends, maybe the world with friends could warm your heart, and put down your mask of 'poker face'. Perhaps making new friends is not a bad thing at all?

I summoned my courage and had a short conversation with Haseo,"Why would you travel alone? Are you going back to Seoul to visit your parents?" I supposed her parents left her in China because her parents worked overseas. But her answer almost made me chocked on my water.

"My parents were involved in a car accident last year, I was the only one survived in this accident so I was forced to get back to Korea and live with my grandparents."

"May I send my condoleces  to your parents, I didn't mean that."

"It's okay, I'm fine. Now I'm going to tell you my reason of travelling to Korea, but don't be too surprised!" Haseo looked around to check that no one was eavesdropping, then she leaned closer towards me and whispered,

"I will be a trainee under SM Entertainment soon, so I'm going for their 2nd Audition!!!"

"Oh gosh I don't to surprise you, but I'm also going to the Audition, this means we're meant to meet each other?!"

"Oh my gosh!" We're too excited and talked too loud, a flight attendant came towards us and told us to not disturb other passengers.

I seriously didn't want the 3-hour plane journey to end very soon, as we both already knew each other very well despite of we just met for less than half a day. There were laughter and tears in our conversation when we mentioned our parents, and Haseo comforted me by hugging me when I mentioned about my school life. I was glad that I finally met the person who was very considerate about my situation, and was willing to be my tree hole, listening to my complaint without disturbing me, but my words were being kept deep inside the tree hole forever, without echoing.

There we were, in the city full of dreams and wonders, the city of Seoul. We caught a bus and headed straight towards the main building of 

SM Entertainment. Before we pushed open the main doors, we high fived each other,

"We can do this Yehan!"

"Yeah I'm sure we both can!"

Haseo then entered into the building first, leaving me behind. "What are you thinking about? We're almost late, come!" Haseo urged me excitedly.

I should not disappoint my parents, I must succeed and impress my parents when I got back to China.

And so, this starts the new chapter of my life, and luckily I'd got Haseo as my partner who would support each other whenever we overcome obstacles that couldn't be solved by my own.
