The next day at band practice, we packed up to leave once we finished practicing. We continued to sound better and better. I was hoping that we'll get new gigs soon but for now, we needed to branch out and promote ourselves. I packed my guitar in my case when Souyo walked over to me.
"Hey, you want to go see a movie with me?" He asked then held up two tickets.
I took one of them and looked it over. "Wow! The Oni Destroyer! Yes! I've always wanted to see this!"
Souyo smiled at my response. I looked at the ticket in my hand then in Souyo's hand.
"Oh. Only two?" I asked. Souyo nodded.
"I thought that we both can go together."
I glanced over at Rikki. Me and Rikki normally did everything together and we both planned to go see The Oni Destroyer some day. I started to feel bad about being able to go without Rikki. And it seemed like Rikki read my thoughts because he walked over to me and smiled.
"Go see it. I can see it another time."
I blinked my eyes. "Are you sure?"
Rikki nodded. "I have to create new lyrics for our song anyways."
I shrugged and nodded then turned to Souyo and smiled. "Let's go!"

The movie was incredible. I didn't take my eyes off the screen one bit as I shoved popcorn into my mouth. I still felt a bit bad about seeing it without Rikki but I know that Rikki wouldn't feel any better if I turned down the opportunity to see it. Now I know that when the time comes, I'll see the movie again with Rikki.
"Enjoying the movie?" Souyo whispered.
I nodded. "It's amazing! Thanks for taking me!"
Souyo smiled. "No problem."
Then, without me noticing, he started to reach over to take my hand when I pulled my hand away and picked up my soda cup then started to drink from it. I heard Souyo sigh but didn't pay attention. Once the movie was over, me and Souyo left the movie theatre and made our way through town.
"I'm going to call Rikki to see what he's doing." I said then fished for my phone out of my pocket and dialed Rikki's number. Rikki picked up on the second ring.
"Yeah?"
"Hey! Whatchu doing?" I asked.
"Just working on some lyrics. How was the movie?"
"Amazing! I wish you could've came."
"I know. Maybe another time." He said.
"Hey! Why don't you take a break and come hang with us?"
"Hmm...I dunno. I really have to focus on this."
I pouted. "Rikkiiiii~" I whined cutely.
Rikki chuckled. "You know you're cute when you do that."
I giggled. "I hope so. So, are you gonna come hang?"
"Nah. Maybe another time. You two have fun."
"Okay! See you later!" I said then hung up.
"Hey, you want a crepe?" Souyo asked as he pointed to a crepe stand not too far from us.
I looked at him and smiled with a nod. We both walked over and I ordered a strawberry crepe while Souyo ordered a vanilla one. Then we both sat down at a bench and ate it.
"So, you and Rikki are close huh?" Souyo asked.
I nodded as I took a bite out of my crepe, strawberry filling splashed on the edge of my mouth.
"We've been friends forever. We went through a lot together. I don't know what i'll do without Rikki."
Souyo nodded then leaned over and wiped the filling from my mouth.
"You had filling on your face." He said.
I blushed then went back to eating till my crepe was all gone.
"Ahh~ That was good. I'm going to go buy Rikki a crepe." I said then stood up and walked back over to the stand.
Once I bought the crepe, me and Souyo walked over to me and Rikki's apartment. We went in and I immediately rushed to Rikki's side.
"Rikki! I brought you a crepe!" I held it out to him.
He smiled then took it from me. "Thanks." He then set the crepe down.
"You two had fun today?" He asked.
I nodded. "The best." Then I patted my belly. "But now, i'm hungry. I'm going to go make us some ramen noodles." I stood up and walked over to the kitchen.
"Aoi sure is cute huh?" Souyo said.
Rikki nodded. "Yeah. He's really cheerful."
Souyo then looked at my backside. "So, I hear you two are really close."
Rikki shrugged. "You can say that. Why?"
Souyo shrugged. "No reason." He said as he continued to stare at my back side then looked at Rikki and winked with a smirk. Rikki narrowed his eyebrows at Souyo.
I then walked back over with a bowl of ramen noodles. I set the bowl on the table and opened the pot up.
"Dig in!" I said then we all started to dig in.
I started to slurp up some noodles at the same speed as Rikki and when we got towards the end, me and Rikki had the same strand of noodle in our mouths. Souyo sat there as he watched us. I remembered that one part in Lady and the Tramp. It was so cute how the two dogs kissed when they both had the same spaghetti strand in their mouths. I wanted to reenact it. I leaned over and kissed Rikki right on his lips then slurped up the single strand and smiled then went back to eating. I didn't really think much about the kiss since me and Rikki are super close. It's not like we've kissed before but i'm assuming it'll be okay.
Once we finished our dinner, Souyo left and I cleaned up the dishes then I laid beside Rikki as he worked some more on the song lyrics.
"What was that about?" He finally asked.
"What about?"
"Earlier. When you kissed me." He said.
I giggled then smiled and shrugged. "It's nothing. Lady and the Tramp did it. Why couldn't we do it too?"
Rikki just sat there. I grinned then sat up and faced Rikki.
"Why? Did you..." I leaned in close to him. "Like it?"
Rikki sighed as he pushed me away. "You're so childish."
I smiled then rested my head in my hands. "You like it when i'm childish, though."
Rikki shrugged. "Maybe." He looked at me and smiled. I smiled also then wrapped my arms around Rikki's neck and kissed his cheek.
"Let's just say...I want you to know that I want to keep you for myself."
