I wandered from my home into the woods I walked for hours being as quiet as I could my stomach began to hurt and I realised I had not eaten since early the day before I pressed my arms against my stomach and began to look around for something to eat I continued to walk slowly and finally came upon a patch of blackberries I took a small leather sack I had in my bag and began to gather berries for later once it was full I pulled the drawstring tight to ensure there would be no leaks and put it away then I sat and ate until the pain of hunger went away.

I began to think about what my next course of action would be I knew I couldn't just keep wondering through the woods I stood up and looked around but with no luck of finding anything it looked that there was nothing but miles of woods in every direction I was not even sure where I was at this point in my disposition I had just wandered in a random direction with little to no thought to where I was actually going I felt so lost so stupid I was to get so lost I recognized nothing at all...

I looked up at the sky to try to get some idea in what direction I had actually ended up going the sun was in the center of the sky so it was little to no help at all I was beginning to get frustrated with the whole situation and on top of everything I was running low on water I needed to find a source to refill soon or I'd surely begin to dehydrate due to all the energy I was burning though and the heat from the sun only made it worse...

Looking around I decided to keep heading in the direction I had already been walking in hopes that I would soon find either water or anything for that matter I began to walk more taking on sips of my remaining water I wondered for what seemed like forever it began to get dark and I made a simple shelter under a few branches I cleared the ground as best I could making a small pile of sticks and dried leaves I made a small fire to keep the animals and bugs away.

I dug through my bag slowly and finally found my pelt it was a medium sized grey wolf pelt my father had brought back from a hunt several years ago my mother took great care when cleaning and drying the pelt to ensure the white and grey fur would stay in good shape it was so beautiful and I had always been so proud of it since the first day they had given it to me, I pulled my pelt from my bag being careful to not drop anything I closed my bag and laid the wolf pelt on the ground fur side up and laid down carefully I then laid my head on my arms and quickly drifted off to sleep...

The next morning I gathered up my things and put them away before closing my bag I ate a few of the berries I had found the day before then sealed both bags again and covered where the small fire had been with dirt to ensure it was out and cover my tracks just in case I had been followed I grabbed my bag and looked up at the sky to find the sun and decided to head in its general direction I wandered through the woods again and became thirsty I went to drink from my deer's horn canteen sadly it was completely empty.

I sighed and continued to walk the day began to get hotter and hotter as I continued to walk I started to feel quite dizzy and even more thirsty at this point I sat against a tree as the world around me became blurry I stood slowly realising I had to find something to drink and soon I walked a few steps then my body crashed to the ground hitting my head on a root in the process it knocked me smooth out...
