I haven't been alive for very long, but I have been living. I've taken trivial moments for granted, such as those mornings when I would walk to school with my siblings and those ten minutes would be nothing but peaceful. There are people around me who try too hard to be different or too hard to be like everyone and it makes me sad because I would rather just live. My wins and fails have molded me to be . . . Me! In the end . . . I'm a person just like you, but in her own way. A freckle here, a wrinkle there, whatever! Life is a risky adventure, so it's all about whether or not you want to take risks and grab them by the horns. I've learned the hard way that self-doubt is more crippling than peer-criticism, so be your own best friend. Items are only temporary, but love and memories are permanent. Spend less on everyday things and invest more time and love on the people who surround you.
