What is one of my hobbies?
It's not as much that I chose to - but because I fell into it and never found a reason to climb out again.
Singing.
I'm not the greatest, but I can hold a tune. Ask me to sing something and I'll come up blank, but when you're not watching me I'm sure to sing little ditties or melodies that at that moment in time was right. Can I sing? Well I'm no Beyonce, but I think I can. 681Please respect copyright.PENANAUTYqAKhQfL
I've been singing since... forever. I've been in choirs and had my share of solos. I was a lead role in a school musical, *shudders at the memory* so someone must think I'm alright.
I'm guilty of running outside on a full moon and singing hauntingly outside my brother's window so the next day he swears "weird crap goes on on a full moon." He even went outside to find out - but he never found me *laughs*.
I like Jewish melodies the most. The rich tones that inspire passion, fear and hope all laced together with a cultural bow. You won't find me singing latest hits because it's not in my voice to belt out notes, but I have a pretty voice that is much like the reflection on a lake.
I sing when I'm angry or sad or lonely. I sing and hide when people look over the backyard fence to find the source of the sound. I sing as I walk home and I sing to children as their little eyelids flutter to sleep. Singing is the part of my soul that gently enters the world. 681Please respect copyright.PENANATmSiYecIit
Am I good? Who knows. But I have tone deaf friends that I think can sound beautiful when they fully mean in. When they close their eyes and feel the music dancing around their hearts and souls.
I don't believe in people who say they can't sing. Singing isn't always about the notes - but the intent of them.
