Ethan wanted to go back to that bar. "C'mon, they ain't patrolling there!" he tried to convince us. Nathan rolled his eyes, crushing the cigarette under his shoe. He hated that bar as much as he loved order. Well, that's what he claimed. He was a puppeteer that loved fringing innocence when anyone looked at him. Everyone loved Nathan. Good grades, good parents, didn't cause trouble-he only supplied it.
I looked at the two of them, frowning. Before Black decided I was his, I had nightmares about running into him again. Ethan still had the scars and bruises from a month ago. This must have been him trying to tell us he wasn't afraid anymore, I thought.
"No, they might." I reasoned. "You did egg their hangout." my eyes went to the knowing smirk on Nathan's face. "You both did."734Please respect copyright.PENANAJTPYxvcaZO
"Big deal. Yew got us if they wanna start somethin'."
"No. He doesn't. He'll just say take it out back."734Please respect copyright.PENANAQ7552dOhZN
"Stop being a priss. Let's go." and since he was our ride, we followed him. Nathan looked ever calm. He didn't care about Black or his boys-half of them were his customers. And he was the son of a cop. Maybe we'll be okay with him there. You just didn't mess with him.
My palms were sweaty and I felt like I was about to have a heat attack the closer we came to the alley. Ethan wasn't worried, so why was I? My stomach was in knots. Maybe because I was the only one that had some type of sense. Or maybe because I was the first one to see Black and his boys, leaning against the bar with eyes that only meant mischief.
"Well?" Nathan smirked, looking at a paled Ethan. "It looks like they are patrolling you favorite spot." he turned his cool gaze at me. "Right Noah?"734Please respect copyright.PENANAtyRhJYxWqy
He planned this. I wonder how much he was paying them to keep Ethan out. I nodded, letting him know with my eyes that I knew. He laughed-a short, evil sound- and turned on his heel, strolling into the bar. I swear he shook hands with Black before walking inside.
Ethan grabbed my arm before I could follow, clutching it in his hands. "Maybe not"
"Let's go in."
"Et tu, Noah?" he swooned, stumbling away from me. I rolled my eyes, unamused by his constant antics.
"Are we just going to lea-"
"The cocksucker? Yes. Yes, we are." he pulled me back to the car, but stopped. He looked over his shoulder at the line of hoods like a kicked puppy. His favorite place was taken away from him. He took a deep breath and gave me a fearful smile. "No, we can't do that can we?"734Please respect copyright.PENANAvZdXE9jLEe
"Because Nathan is very wild?" I raised an eyebrow at him.
"Yeah! He doesn't know when to stop! He'll drink himself to death if we leave him alone!"
"That's you. He'll pay someone else to die for him."
Ethan groaned. With a pained smile, he briskly walked to the bar. Snickers sounded off until it turned into full-blown laughter. Some of them (Owen mainly) threw insults at him, sometimes me. I kept my head down, feeling my cheeks turn red. This is what I get for worrying about my friend, I thought bitterly until someone grabbed my shoulder pushing me back.
Someone had grabbed Ethan and pushed him into me, nearly making us fall into the street. Black laughed, looking us over through his shades.
"Pet, and Punching Bag." he nicknamed us, before waving his hand. Nathan, the snake, came out the bar like he scripted this scene. Perhaps he did. I wouldn't be surprise.
"Oooh yeah..." he nearly sung. He jabbed a thumb back at Black. "He's my cousin, remember?"734Please respect copyright.PENANA5z2ML2YTF6
