小時候我很不愛看書的，整天往外跑，像個野孩子。唯一會看的書，大概就是漫畫書了。
初一時，我慢慢開始看書。這種轉變是突然的、沒有預兆的，就是某一天，你發現——你的生活再這樣下去可不行，你想改變，而你也做出了改變。
在閱讀的早期，我閱讀了一本英國小說，名The Outcast。我很喜歡女主，她的性格、她的善良，我也很喜歡她的名字，所以我把這個名字借走了，就這樣與「基特」自由快活地生活了好多年。
其中一個很特別的事情就是，「基特」應該也象徵了我生活的一個嶄新面向，我為此珍惜著自己這個筆名。它蘊含了太多，太多。
書不在我手邊，網上又找不到可以閱讀的電子書（好事），所以引用了書簡介裡的一段（即使只是簡介，也描述出女主Kit性格的獨特）：
