It was tough. Really tough to ingnore his existence. But I tried. I tried to stay away from him.
Beacause it was necessary. We had no match. He was a prince and I was a damsel in distress.
So, I tried my level best to ignore him and his actions. But, it was difficult.
My eyes never listened to me . They didn't allow me to avoid him . They always confronted him and ended up meeting with his blue eyes which was like a ocean, deep and cold but always sparkled with some amazing glint.
At that moment , I always flinched as a strike of electricity ran through my spine. It was an amazing feeling. But, It also scared me. And I immediately remove my eyes from him.
He always laughed at my reaction.
And, then he would gesture something to the man standing beside him. The man would place 1000 dollars and would buy some flowers. It was the same routine for everyday.
But that day it didn't happen. He didn't say anything. Neither any of his muscles moved. He was behaving strange and I didn't want to look at him . I was scared. I was scared to look directly in his eyes because if I dared to look at him I would lose myself completely and I couldn't afford that.
I was looking down.
After a moment, the man who came with him left us alone.
' I am leaving.
I'm leaving the town tonight. ' I heard him saying.
I couldn't understand what pierced my soul.
Those words or his cold and Sharp as steel voice.
I dared to look at him directly in his eyes . His eyes drawn me to him. I felt like he was undressing me and tried to look at my soul .
I removed my eyes from him .
But he placed a finger on my chin and made me look at him .
' Aren't you going to say anything?' he asked .
I wanted to scream. I wanted to say , DON'T GO. I wanted to express my feelings for him. But, I couldn't utter a single word.
I just kept quiet.
After a moment, he slowly cupped my face and started leaning on me.
With his sudden gesture , I closed my eyes . And then I felt his soft lips placed on my mind.
A sudden of jolt of electricity ran through my whole body, making me feel warm .
My mind went blank and I started melting.
I opened my eyes when I felt no warm inside me.
'Wait for me.' he said and left.
I was still standing trying to understand what had happened, when suddenly I found my eyes wet.
I was shedding tears .
I always knew it was going to happen as he was never mine.
And, he could never become mine
That's why I was hiding my love for him. And, I would always hide my love for him. Forever and ever.....
