Here I stand before a mirror. Seeing the other me clear and visible. Short cut straight nut-brown hair that few short hairs over my pale forehead. A man with a clean-shaven face and has a pale complexion. What makes this man’s face so special? So different? It is not my smile and without a doubt it is the almost piercing sapphire blue eyes; but those eyes are not ordinary eyes. They are the eyes of a monster; a vampire. The pupils sliced like cat’s eyes. Yes, I am a vampire but it’s just another word to say I am a monster that kills. Yet what choice do I have to survive? I need human blood. To humans a terrible yet ironical a simple diet.679Please respect copyright.PENANA5Ul5Y5UiOV
I scoffed and let a pale hand stroke across the smooth surface of the cool glass. Through dark magic and the blood I get to keep my youth and unimaginable powers. This, this face will never alter or change. The time and years pass me by like the wind and at the same time it stretches on to, to eternity. Eternity is definitely a long time. It is worse than waiting in the waiting room for your doctor or dentist’s appointment.
Those deep blue eyes have seen and witnessed many things a human can barely imagine. Mostly the terrible part. Under my chest still moves to this day mortal emotions aside my unbeating heart; whirling at certain moments wild like the waves in the ocean in a storm. Carrying invisibly a tremendous weight of guilt on my shoulders from day to day, hour by hour. Simply all because I’m a vampire. The weight is so great; it actually crushes a normal human to the death. That is why vampires have great powers; to hold that weight up. Walk straight with elegance and grace. Holding up a poker face. Wearing a mask and smile as if there is nothing. Just some damned masquerade!

I hear the sound of shattering glass. My right hand had balled into a fist and because of the thought it made me furious that I broke the mirror. Still among the floor where the glass pieces lay scattered I can still see my reflection. My cursed face. My damn presence.679Please respect copyright.PENANAukOPg5cfik
Through centuries I heard a vampire could shed a tear but that is a very rare occasion. I could cry a river but no tears seem to well in my eyes. Why? The eyes of a monster should be filled with hate and evil, not good and forgiveness and above all tears! No wonder I cannot shed tears! I’m a killer with no heart and mercy.679Please respect copyright.PENANAs9yzaSBrUU
