Hi, my name's Dave, and I'm a 23 year old college student with brown shaggy hair that reaches to my shoulders and green eyes that everyone tells me look like emeralds. I'm wearing a blue and green plaid button-up shirt that isn't tucked in and a jean jackets that a little too big because it was originally my brother's. He gave it to me a few years ago. I never gave it back. My jeans are all ripped up and dirty, since I'm always working outside. I work at the local farmer's market, so I plant all the seeds and help the farmer for the harvest. It's a really hard job.
I'm in college, like I said before, and I'm going into the criminal justice field. I really want to be a cop, mostly because my parents were killed by a gang in hit-and-run. I watched the whole thing happen, so my grandma sent me to see a psychologist. I always have nightmares about them dying. Because of that, I don't talk to people. Except for my older sister Sindy.
Sindy has long black hair that reaches about her mid back. Her eyes are blue, just like our dad and grandma. People tell her they look like the ocean sometimes. She has a smaller nose than me, and a bunch of freckles along her nose and cheeks. She's 25, and she has a boyfriend named Mark. She doesn't hang around the house much anymore, since she tends to spend the night over at his house more often. She works at the local hospital, about 3.5 miles away. She drives a 2013 blue prius, which she loves.
We have a dog named Lucky, who we found on the side of the road once. She's a 2 year old cocker spaniel.
It's about 2:30 in the afternoon right now, and the sun is shining through my window. I should be doing homework, or studying for my next class, but I don't want to. I'm just lazy like that. Really I don't know why I'm even writing this. Diaries are for girls, I should just put this away. Yeah, I'm gonna do that. Maybe I'll write again one day when I'm too girly to do anything else.
