The man's eyes swept over Shadow, as if looking to see if Shadow would be nervous. He was a tall man, gray from age, his jaw rough and seemed to be made of titanium, and looked ready to bite into a rock at any given moment. His eyes were purple, full of experience, they had seen battles first hand, they had seen agents rise and fall in power, they gave anyone the chills. Shadow just sat still and showed no sign of fear. (As usual) After satisfied at what he saw, he nodded in approval. "Agent, Shadow, we have a problem that requires your assistance." He said, his words commanding to match his face. Shadow's eye brow moved up slightly indicating that the was attentive. "Three weeks ago at 08:00 hours someone broke into one of our G.U.N. Facilities and stole some of our important archives, our janitor wasn't to happy when he arrived that morning, to say the least." "Are there any clues to what they were looking for exactly? Or who they are?" Shadow asked, the commander. "I think it would be better if you took a look for yourself agent." The commander said his tone serious, as he slid five pictures across his desk to Shadow. They were blurry and barely showed any features of the figure, but it was clear the figure was feminine. "These were the best photos of evidence we could present, all the others are trash. The only other items that were reported stolen were the two chaos emeralds we had collected last month." The commander said. Shadow's eyes narrowed, however on closer observation to the pictures carefully, he noticing that the figure had bat like ears poking out of the sides. Shadow sighed, his mind going to an all too familiar bat companion on his team. "You think it's, Rouge, don't you." Shadow said with a sigh. With a sigh, the commander replied, "There are very few people who can achieve the level of skill it took to bypass our top of the line security and in order for them to steal documents this important, the thief would have also needed inside information to know which facility to infiltrate and how to maneuver within." "I see..." Shadow said. "You have witnessed the true power of our security team when Eggman attempted to hack into our systems and his attempt ended him behind bars." The commander added. "Is there anything else I need to know?" Shadow asked. "Well... I guess another suspicion is the agent Rouge has not been returning our calls since the incident occurred. She had completely vanished off of our radar until 3 hours ago when we had a reading of her position located somewhere on the south side of green hill. We weren't able to find it's exact location because it disappear almost immediately." The commander replied. "So you want me to hunt her down?" Shadow asked."It seems like you already have everything figured out, why ask for my assistance commander?" "Because you and I both know this behavior is very unusual for Rouge. She's among my best agents, if she is involved in this plot somehow, I need to know why. I know you'll be able to handle this without allowing your emotions to get involved." The commander replied.
