Long ago the four companies warred with one another using different armies which they dubbed consoles. It was the Console Wars. Many a death had been had at the hands of this awful war, so many losses. Beings known as The Characters from each of the four companies marched onto the battle fields constantly, sacrificing everything to prove their company superior.
That is, until peace was found when the Gamers arrived.
Masters of the Consoles, they sought to end the lineage of Great War after Great War, a process which had seen the deaths of many other companies in years prior. Still, faced with greed and pride, they eventually found themselves swept up in the conflict. Once said to be saviors at that point then began to fight one another over superiority.
It was not until the Game Master’s arrival that it all changed. Using the power of The Lamp, the Game Master used near endless ability to put an end to the Tenth Great War. Gamers still would clash though never like they had before, usually without violence. In fact, thanks to the Game Master, the four companies eventually began to work together and form alliances to stabilize themselves and others further. It was the beginning of an era of peace…
Eventually the Game Master passed on though not before passing down his abilities down to those he found worthy of the title of Game Master. They carried on his work proudly, sharing the joy of the various companies among themselves. Eventually the Game Masters faded into obscurity as their presence was no longer needed. For decades, the peace they had fought for looked like it would be unending.
Of course, not all things are meant to last.
Truly, the four companies lived together in harmony, then everything changed when the Canadianators attacked. Filled with greed and desire, the evil Lord Dona’tor stole the Lamp of Power and began his conquest across the continents. One by one the Companies began to fall, starting with PC. Eventually, Microsoft met its end against the creations the Canadianators managed to build from the PC Empire.
Sony held its ground for as long as possible but sadly they too fell. Eventually the Canadianators marched on Nintendo, looking for a swift victory. All seemed lost. Only the Game Masters, masters of all four companies, could stop them; but when the world needed them most, they vanished.
Nintendo fought on for many a year, having the most diverse and strongest of Characters; though even they could not hold against the powers of four empires united as one. Finally the decisive end to the war came and Lord Dona’tor’s army marched on Nintendo Headquarters. All seemed lost, at least, to those who had never heard of Mario’s Time Machine.
An old relic, it proved fruitful. The executives of Nintendo during the course of the war had thought that if the need would arise, they could send a mighty warrior back in time to undo the damage caused by Lord Dona’tor; to stop him before he had acquired The Lamp. Sad for Nintendo, disaster struck.
Executive Leader, Doug Bowser, was revealed to be a traitor. As it turned out, Doug was in fact Dark Bowser brought back to life by Dona’tor before the war had even begun. With Doug’s knowledge, the Canadianators attacked before the completion of the machine, destroying Nintendo’s champions… all except one.
