It stood above me. I lay there, in my bed, pretending to sleep, but I can feel its dark eyes on me. I try to keep myself from trembling as it leans toward me. I'm holding my breath while its pale face comes closer to me. I know that it's smiling with those filthy, sharp teeth. It lets out a high pitched giggle that raises the hairs on my arms, and its breath stirs my hair. I can’t take it anymore. I slide my hand around and flick the light on. It immediately disappears. I heave a sigh of relief and turn the light back off. I settle into the pillow and close my eyes. I feel breath on my cheek. I freeze and slowly open my eyes and turn my head, afraid of what I might see in the darkness of my room. What I see makes my heart freeze with fright and my throat close. I’ve made up my mind to sleep with the lights on now.751Please respect copyright.PENANAET7sjbKgED
