The boy jumped the distance of the chasm.687Please respect copyright.PENANAjXkRN8CsLf
In the quiet second that he jumped, he heard words whisper into his mind.
"It's my fault he died...I never even said that I loved him. If I erased this world, then in another place, he would still be alive, and I could say those words I never said."
"No!" yelled the boy in response.
He reached the other side of the chasm, and when he did he ran to the girl, catching her in his arms.
"Don't throw everything away....it's not your fault, no matter who you were and what you did when he died." spoke the boy.
"I just wish I could tell him that I loved him..." said the girl.
She began to cry hard.
"You can tell him...he's right here." spoke the boy, his voice breaking by the tears he began to shed.
He looked at the angelic being.
The Angel had tears falling from his face.
Did angels cry?
The boy didn't know, but in this world, it seemed that they did.
"Just tell him, he'll hear you." spoke the boy again, his voice silent and filled with empathy.
"I love you..." began the crying girl, quietly.
"I love you dear family member, dear child that I loved dearly, even if I never told you. I miss you, I'm sorry, and I love you!"
Tears fell from the faces of the boy and girl as a sense of peace began to collide with the sorrow of the past.
The world was turning back to normal once more, and the Angel knew that the trial was now over at last.
