Tears slip down my pale face, as I stand beside my mother’s dead body. We couldn’t afford a coffin, we couldn’t even afford the funeral clothes. Then, my mum raises her head from the pillow and walks over to the bathroom at the funeral as if it’s the normalest thing you could ever do. “Mum,” I yell running over to her. “Yes darling,” she says. “You’re alive,” I say grinning. “Sweety, did you think I was dead? I was just sleeping,” my mum tells me. I run back to my dad my boots banging on the floor. “Mum’s not dead, she was sleeping,” I say almost laughing at his stunned expression. “Silly us,” is all he replies. That has to be the most stupid mistake we have ever made. Normally we aren’t THAT dumb. A large toothy grin covers my face. Best funeral ever!!!
