As Grace walked out of the theater, her phone buzzed in her pocket. Immediately, she pulled it out.
"How was the audition?" The text read.
"Oh, I forgot to tell Jennifer." Grace mumbled to herself.
"I didn't make it." Grace responded.
"Want Rachel, Jess, and I to come over tonight with ice cream?"
Grace wanted to tell them face to face about James. So, instead of telling her over the phone, she agreed.
"Sure."
After responding, Grace walked to her apartment. When she arrived, she opened her door. To her surprise, she saw someone familiar ravaging her fridge.
"Gilbert! Stop going through my fridge!" Grace dropped her bags on the floor and ran over to the fridge.
"Why?" Gilbert asked with a mouth full of lasagna.
"Because this is my house. Go home." Grace grabbed her leftovers from his hand and returned it to the fridge.
"You know that ever since you left home, dad has been on my butt." Gilbert scoffed.
"That'sbecause he wants you to take over the company." Grace glared at Gilbert.
"Yeah, but he wanted you tontake over it first. Because you decided to go into broadway, he is mad. He lets out all his anger on me." Gilbert continued to complain.
"Then why don't you rebel?"
Gilbert opened his mouth but then closed it before he could say anything. He knew that he couldn't rebel against his father.
"Anyway, leave. The girls are coming over tonight, so I need to clean up." Grace started to push him out the door.
"Wait I don't want to go home yet." Gilbert protested.
"Fine," Grace sighed then pulled out money from her pocket. "Take this. Go buy yourself a drink or two." After putting it in his hand, she closed the door.
"Thanks, I guess." Gilbert shrugged and walked off.
"Now, time to clean up." Grace said as she scanned the room.

"Hey girls." Grace greeted her friends at the door.
"I brought the ice cream." Jennifer said while showcasing the chocolate ice cream.
"I brought tissues just incase." Rachel brougut out a tissue box.
"I have more auditions I scouted out." Jess smiled.
"Actually guys, I want to tell you something." Grace began. "You see, I actually was given a business card to meet a guy who can help me become famous."
"What do you mean?" Jennifer asked.
Grace took out the card from her purse and showed it to them. The girls' eyes enlarged at the sight of the card. "So that address on the card is..." Rachel pointed.
"Is the address to meet him. Do you guys think I should? I thought about it, but I wasn't sure." Grace asked.
"What do you mean? Of course you should!" Rachel yelled.
"Listen. It's an invitation, right?" Jess asked.
"Yes." Grace answered.
"He is going to help you into broadway, right?" Jennifer continued.
"Yes." Grace nodded.
"Then you need to meet him! When are you meeting?" Rachel asked.
"Tonight." Grace told them.
"Then get dressed, and let's go!" Jennifer said as they pushed Grace into her bedroom.
This is a once in a life time chance for Grace. She has to take it.
