After a 10 minute drive, we finally arraived at the aquatic centre, i watched as thousands of kids got off the many different buses. 'This will be fun' I thought to myself.
I suddenly was pulled by molly and georgie.
"Come on, we have to get the best seatsss!!!!" She said yelling, dragging me through the crowds
"Okay Okay, calm down!!" I yelled back
After minutes of pushing and showing people out of the way, we found the perfect seats. It was at the top of the terraces. We waited until Soren and Shane came along. After what seemed like an eternity they finally found us.
"Omggg, that was hard, sorry we are late!" Said Shane panting
"Ahh its fineeee." I said back
It was soooo loud. We watched 1500 kids push, shove, kick their way onto the terraces.............
After the entire school calmed down the principal took on her megaphones.
"GOOD MORNING OUR LOVELY SCHOOL, TODAY IS A VERY EXCITING DAY AS IT IS OUR 50TH SWIMMING CARNIVAL, THIS DAY IS VERY EXCITING AS MANY OF OUR STUDENTS PARTICIPATE AND COMPETE AGAINST EACH OTHER FOR THEIR SCHOOL POINTS! LETS CHEER ON FOR OUR ATHLETES ON THIS LOVELY DAY. I WISH THE VERY BEST LUCK FOR OUR 4 TEAMS, URSA, CYGNUS, AQUA AND KENNY!!!! LET US BEGINNNN" the microphone roared
After our deputy principles, our house captian's and sports leaders gave their speech we were finally able to talk again
"Why on earth do teachers give suchhh boring speaches, its sooo boringgg, anyway we have 10 more minutes before the races begin, what do you wanna do?" asked Soren
"Why dont we play something chill before we get all intense, how about the put your finger down game???" said Molly
we all agreed.
