It all started with the first guardians. The first four became what is known today as the Star Bound Heroes, which consists of Laynee of Star Wars Rebels, Skylar of Attack on Titan, Lea of Asguard, and Chris of Once Upon a Time. The first major battle/war that had guardians present was the Overian War and the rise of Tala. After that was cleared and Tala’s throne secured there was the civil war, a war of alliances against each other. What had happened was it was a casual day in the world of the Seven Deadly Sins anime, Lylac and her matesprite Kai guardian of Wattamote were chatting peacefully with Summer from Pixie Hollow. That is until Summer had started mind controlling Lylac, making her take her dragon form and attack Kai, for you see Summer has the ability to control animals and Lylac is the princess of the ancient dragon clan that was wiped out years ago in that worlds time frame. One thing lead to another and the Undertale AU alliance at the time consisting of Yoan, Daxx, Charlotte, Dani, and K arrived to protect their friend Summer. The ones who stopped Lylac were Luna, Ara, and the other allies and that erupted into a war against one another. It was later that they had discovered that a new guardian from the marvel universe was responsible for the war, the one with mind controlling powers. The Witch of Time, Lizzie guardian of Dr.Strange. After that incident Lizzie had insisted that someone had told her to do it, had told her to spark the civil war, no one believed her accept for the Seer of Time, Orion of Berserk.
After the civil war, another eruption of rebellion ignited among the guardians, this time with Glory of Black Clover and Scarlet of Avatar the Last Airbender. Scarlet, for who the rebellion was named after, was marked with restricted powers by the Zodiac Guardians, at the time there were thirteen guardians marked with the stars marks. And half way through the rebellion a fourteenth was added, the mark Cetus. Glory and Scarlet, throughout the time of their conversing, discovered their sisterhood. Together they decided to overpower the Zodiacs and make everyone equal, the Cancer sign Zodiac joining the twin sisters. In the time of the rebellion the sisters were so afraid of being overthrown themselves or taken over that they had the first of the G2s. Scarlet and Krill, the Cancer sign Zodiac, had three children. A boy and two girls. Glory and her matesprite from The Over, Storm, had four children, three girls and a boy, sadly the eldest daughter died from unknown causes. And unknown to everyone, even Scarlet and Krill, Glory and Storm had one more child, one born with the guardian trait. For her safety she was sent to a world where she grew up to become a guardian herself, her name is Ursa and she became the guardian of Stranger Things.
After Scarlet’s Rebellion had lasted long enough a truce was made, that the zodiac marked guardians would not bear the name of the zodiac they are marked with, and along with that another zodiac appeared, and another, other guardians with the fourteen zodiac marks. The fourteen original zodiacs were: Cetus: Riptide of Noragami, Ophiuchus: Olinia of Homestuck, Aquarius: Coral of Teen Titans, Pisces: Pearl of How to Train your Dragon, Capricorn: Enki of Despicable Me, Sagittarius: Flare of Is it Wrong to Pick up Girls in a Dungeon, Scorpio: Xerocole of Fate/Stay the Night, Libra: Soul of Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood, Virgo: Galaxy of Wakfu, Leo: Fennic of Meggamind, Cancer: Krill of Sluggterra, Taurus: Lynx of Elfen Lied, Gemini: Uni of Kung Fu Panda, and Aries: Raven of Transformers.
It was during the birth of the first guardian born children that Glory and Storm came out and revealed the truth about Ursa. There was a difference with the second generation, the difference was the ones who were guardian born and the ones who were not. The first children were given the gift of being guardian born, the amount of children who were guardian born and who weren’t was around half. Being guardian born means that you are born with the powers of a guardian. The powers of a guardian born are: resurrection past god tier and being a guardian to a dimension. Being born without the guardian gene takes out those traits, but the ones who are and aren’t guardian born have eternal youth, but a non-guardian born can die permanently after reaching god tier. It was the first generation who wanted their children to be educated in being a proper guardian. So the Guardian Academy was created for all children to learn and prosper, guardian born or not. But before they could get half the guardian born children worlds of their own, The Over was destroyed, Tala and her non-guardian born matesprite, Alar, dying with the rest of The Over. Their children however survived, along with some survivors who now take refuge in lone pocket dimensions and The Vast. The children from oldest to youngest are as followed: Diamond, non-guardian born, Shock, non-guardian born, Comet, guardian of Doki Doki Lit Club, Misty, guardian of Star Wars Resistance, Nightlark, non-guardian born, Epsilon, guardian of One Punch Man, and their “adopted” daughter Rosebud, guardian of Delta Rune.
It was the Trinity, the Hero, Judge and Seer of G1 who wanted to make a tradition of having a trinity for each generation. The first Trinity consisted of Yoan of Undertale who served as the Judge, Glory of Black Clover who served as the Hero, and Orion of Berserk who served as the Seer. These three chose three others to be the next trinity. Orion’s choice was easy, she chose the only other child who had a prophesy that was foretold, the one that predicted the Over’s destruction and rise of an unknown killer, her name is Justice and she is the guardian of Miraculous and, like Orion, is a Seer of Time and serves as G2’s Seer. Yoan’s choice was set when meeting Lea’s eldest daughter Cassiopeia, she was always underestimated when standing next to her younger sister Aquila, but above all, can see the fine line between genocide and mercy. She became the guardian of Sally Face, and she serves as the Judge of the Trinity. And the final side to the Trinity, the Hero. Glory had chosen two young guardians to be the potential Hero, Pyxis of Nighttale and Epsilon of One Punch Man. Pyxis is a leader of a group of six, her determination and leadership are flawless. The only issue is, she refuses to kill. Epsilon on the other hand is the strongest guardian out of G1 and G2. He can go head to head with Saitama and not break a sweat. Being a prince he has excellent leadership abilities, but his cockiness gets in the way of some decisions. Glory had wanted to pick Pyxis from the start, but with her refusal to kill, the Hero had to resort to other methods. A small group of the strongest guardians were to go head to head in a game like flags, take the flag off of an opponent and they are out, last one standing wins. It wasn’t to anyone’s surprise when Epsilon and Pyxis were the last two standing. But when Pyxis started using survival and assassin methods to not only blind Epsilon but cut him at the back of the knees to immobilize him, at least half the multiverse had their jaws dropped. In the end Pyxis claimed the title of Hero.
It is said however that Epsilon had let her win, but will neither confirm or deny the statement. It was at the same time that Faun of Percy Jackson and Ben of Dragons Nest admitted to have a daughter hidden away, aside from their other three children, that she was banished to a world parallel to her twin brothers, Victor of Boku no Hero Academia. And at that time Glory and Storm admitted to be the true parents of Rosebud and had her hidden away in the Over because of her potential to inherit such great power.
At the start of the third generation is when the Guardian Killer started getting very active. Their first real accounts where attacking and blinding Lylar, child of Laynee and Skylar and guardian of Anamorphs. The next real account was when they had attacked a young G3 guardian, Wendy of Soulfell, child of Lylar and Core coincidentally, the next attack was directed at Current of Revolutiontale, Quizkar (Current’s older brother) of Aqua Man and G3’s Seer, Vaedox of Timescar, Pendoria of PJ’s Daycare, and Equinox of Rokka Braves of the Six Flowers. Why they were attacked is unknown, but they haven’t gotten cocky enough to try and attack the non-guardian born children. The G3 currently have no one who isn’t born without the guardian trait. The G3 Trinity consists of Quizkar of Aqua Man as the Seer, Mia of Exotic Detective as the Judge and Jack of Captain Marvel as the Hero and is the strongest guardian known to our date of 4/25/19. But it doesn't stop there, it was when Endgame was released that the other four timelines merged with the ALPHA Timeline, causing the war of timelines, a true Endgame. It is unknown how that battle has ended, they say that only the ones of the EPSILON timeline remember the events transpiring the major battle, but it has not been proven. Following the Endgame battle was the battle in the Villainous and AU worlds, it was when G4 prophecy came true. The young guardian A had killed the one guardian killer Keito, his sister Mariga still at large and seeking revenge. That was also when the reveal of spriting was a thing. The sprite of A's friends Void and Dirk, became something of unknown power even to the original guardians and the rest of the overians. We are now in the fourth generation of guardians and the threats just keep getting worse.
the main villain from the Rise of the Half Blood series, Keto, yeah he's here and still has his puppet strings controlling Mariga, spoiler alert, a new face named Mori is has just revealed herself which is never fun for anyone and a suprise face joining the dark side, but that is for the main story. This overview is to make sure you as the audience don't get confused with names and such, and if you want to know about Keto, Mariga and their history that please read the Rise of the Half Blood series, it may be long but it's worth the read.
