"What a luxurious house," remarked Ophelia standing in front of the apartment that's supposed to be Sinon place. She never thought that buildings would reach that height looking from the ground. It was a condo and his suite was at the top of the 16 stories building. She had to wait for someone that lived there to be able to enter the building. He looked broke, but apparently, he's a wealthy man. She knocked with the fancy door knocker of the white door, too tall for anyone--or it was just her. As the door slowly opened, she could hear multiple old woman's voices having a chat. The entrance was wide open as five-woman starred at Ophelia, really confused.
"Hello young lady, how can I help you?" asked the woman in a friendly tone.
"Is this Sinon house? I was supposed to meet him tomorrow but something came up so I came here today." returned Ophelia hand gesturing all over the place.
"Oh yes, this morning he came to rent the house for tomorrow but it's not his residence. Sorry." replied the lady as she began to close the door, the same way she opened.
"No worries, but I would like to have his number, he didn't give me last time we meet." firmly stated Ophelia as she reopened the entrance.
"Oh you youngster, arent yall always on the phone. Sigh, just wait here..." she grunted as she goes upstairs to find his phone number. she returned shortly with a pink neon post-it. "Here ya go, now shoo." told the woman as she closes loudly the door. Ophelia could hear giggling from the women that were sitting around a table of cards.
'He wanted to impress me uhh' presumed Ophelia as she took the same gray taxi she rode to get here. She sat on the passager seat on the right and was on her way home. She could not call Sinon right now because her dumbass forgot her phone at her place. Stupid move by her part. But at least she could still enjoy the ride to her residence. It still amazed her sometimes how far she could see in the distance. She even saw a glimpse of the sunset full of colours, she only describes them as amazing and surreal. She was able to see all the faces of the lady's playing cards game. and she never thought people could see through the windows. Like privacy is out of the window.
Ophelia makes her way to apartment 420. She slowly opened the door as it was probably late seeing the sky turning into a black night sky with countless sparkling white dots in the sky: stars. The first thing she saw was Dreida, on the couch that faced directly to the entrance. She seemed normal at first glance, but her expression expresses less happiness, behind that fake smile was a sad and broken Dreida. ' Maybe she broke up with her boyfriend ' thought at first Ophelia and that was probably the reason even if ALumm looked devoted to her.
"Hey Dreida, are you okay, you seem a bit off," said Ophelia, locking the door behind her. She grabbed her phone sitting on the bench on her right and put it in her handbag( specifically look like Foldable Longchamp Beach Tote). Phone acquired!
"Of course I am, just had some issue at work this morning, nothing too big." replied Dreida chuckling at the question, "why would you even ask". 'HELP ME, PLEASE!!' screamed Dreida's conscious. For her soul, the real Dreida, she was trapped in a black room where the only light was a rectangle, showing what her controlled body was seeing.
"Dreida you don't have to lie, I know you since we were born. I can see through your lies," responded Ophelia as she comes close to her, she sat on the couch and put her right hand on Dreida's shoulder. She saw Dreida trying to hide a bright object behind her, placing her right arm behind her back, it was difficult to notice since it was so well lit in here. Now they were face to face, still on the couch.
"You know you can trust me, so spill the beans," said Ophelia while gazing into Dreida's eyes.
"I am okay, you don't have to worry." replied playfully Dreida. 'I'm not, get me out of here.' sobbed the real Dreida as she falls to her knees, crying. As a couple of seconds passed, one teardrop fell to her red cheek. "Why am I crying? I am fine." said the controlled body of Dreida.
"You're not! tell me about your problems, we will get through it together," exclaimed Ophelia as both of her arm is on dreida's shoulders. Black writing on her left arm caught her attention, 'Dreida is not in control of her body. Dreida is planning to kill Ophelia. Dreida is hiding a knife. Dreida was an-' Ophelia's thought is cut short as Dreida swing a knife in her direction. It managed to strike a small cut on the check of Ophelia, blood dropped from her cheek to her neck. The weapon was the source of light behind Dreida. It looked celestial.
"WOOOOW!!" shouted Ophelia, she would have liked to ask Dreida why she was doing this but she already knows her answer, she was controlled by someone. Ophelia was now 3 to 4 meters away from the exit, she had to make it there, or else... Dreida continued to swing her knife but in a stabbing motion. She was crying tears as she grunted trying desperately to kill Ophelia. The real Dreida could not watch this scene, it hurt too much knowing she would have to watch Ophelia die. Ophelia was now in front of the pinning(The return of the pinning!). Dreida went for a violent attack as she was sure Ophelia was cornered but instead, she gets stuck in the wall when Ophelia dodged her attack. Still, Ophelia gets a wound on her right arm. This is her chance to escape!
Ophelia rushed to the door, she hurriedly unlocked the door, it took some time as She became lightheaded from the blood loss but she eventually got out. Dreida was still stuck, now her feet on the wall trying to pull out the knife. " Shit, she's escaping ". With those words, the real Dreida finally looked up from her knees, hands full of water. She was relieved Ophelia got an opportunity to flee. THUD! Controlled Dreida was finally out, she immediately got up from the floor and went out of the apartment.
Dreida was 2 floors behind Ophelia. Ophelia descended stairs as fast as she could while the adrenaline rushed to her brain. She heard echoing stump from above, Dreida was fast approaching. Ophelia went straight for the main entrance, the one that was the official entrance of the tiny apartment building. She opened the door and Sinon of all people was in front of the gate.
"Heyyy~~, did you came to greet me?" Sinon arrogantly said.
"DREIDA WANTS TO KILL ME!!" screamed Ophelia at Sinon, as blood dripped from her arm where she placed her hands to try to minimize the blood loss. But Sinon slides his leg to the left so he could trip Ophelia right foot and she falls headfirst to the pedestrian pavement.
"What the fuck was that for?" said Ophelia at Sinon. Towards the entrance, Sinon starts to point his finger as he draws a large circle with it. He chanted what she presumed is a spell, a glowing azure line appeared following his pointed finger. Ophelia slowly got up, amazed by what Sinon is doing, he is an angel after all. A blue halo emerged on top of Sinon's head. Her heart started to beat fast at the sight of his composed face. 'What a gorgeous face he has.'
Dreida looked exhausted when she arrived on the first floor, she looked directly at Sinon and just gave up without even trying. Sweatdrop was everywhere because Dreida's body was never exposed to a lot of sport. Her eyes had a bright orange outline with her usual brown green eye. Her makeup was ruined from all the crying, but her tears had time to dry and she was only wearing her thigh-high socks, no shoes. Dreida went upstairs with the weapon in hand, dripping Ophelia's blood. Ophelia saw the weird celestial weapon as Dreida disappeared from her view.
Ophelia is safe.
Sinon began to circle with his finger the area of her wound and chanted some more spells. When he stopped, the blood stopped to bleed.
"Thank you but why is she turning back? Did you enchante her?" asked Ophelia.
"No, I just placed an enchanting wall, see?" responded Sinon as he opened the door and try to pass his hand through the entrance but an invisible wall blocks him. "It's just that you can't pass through it but it's strange she just backed away, did he... Maybe..." (he make the thinking pose).
"What? Who did what to Dreida! Also, Why are you here?" questioned Ophelia.
"I saw you were in danger so I came, but I will explain more later, I need to talk to you about me, Alumm and now--Dreida, " said Sinon as he turns, putting both his hands in his jacket.
"Let's go to my place."
"I went to the address you gave me this afternoon but it was just an old lady house..."
"I know. Just follow me," said Sinon.
Ophelia followed Sinon just behind her. The street lamp where the only source of light that had. The couple went to a small hallway on the street. Sinon takes from his pocket a gem in the form of a crystal wich the apex was pointy. The gem was white with the bottom of the crystal being foggy but the top is clear as ice. On the hallway's wall in front of them, Sinon draws with the crystal a door as tall as him. The line the crystal created was bright white and inside the half oval, an image of a black sky appeared. It was a new world. All of the houses were on floating land and the bottom was filled with big clouds.
"Come on, jump," said Sinon with confidence.
"Are you crazy!! you want me to jump!!" Exclaimed Ophelia.
"Don't worry, I will be right behind you" smiled Sinon as he pushes Ophelia in the portal.
